That ring is an amazing find! Yeah, I would be out there in the gardens with the metal detector! And so cool about the story of the medium, which was really popular at that time. In the US, Edgar Cayce was a prominent medium. What a wonderful music box! I love your job.

I’ve always loved music boxes. I remember tearing one apart as a child so I could see how it worked. Seeing all the little pins on the spindle lifting the little keys! This one is so lovely to see. Thanks for sharing 💕

Julie, The ring is beyond beautiful.amazing history.Sir William is blessed to have it back.but Shame, shame on the gardener..he should have Given it to owner of the estate..the musical box is Just breathtaking❤...so Technical..probably a Patek Phillipe watchmaker Could fix it..the sound just Makes my heart skip❤.
