to be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price. But the fact that you are*jklux* buying an image and showing off your taste to make them think you are richer than you are is a very good thing to do.

Josie, its the best not walking on your foot for 2 till 4 weeks on a broken Metatarsal. And its normal to still have mild swelling and discomfort. ice and rest is the best medicine. Normally it takes 6weeks or more to completely is healed. Take care dear, good luck😍💖

I too, have had a broken metatarsal on the top of my foot. I ended up wearing a walking cast (you can remove it at night) for 4 weeks and it healed up great! Walking on it as you are is probably breaking the same bone over and over. (It heals up in between). You could get an xray now to determine if that is happening to you. The walking cast is not bad at all. Good luck, Josie!

I broke my 5th metatarsal so the outside bone of my foot. I had to have surgery to put in a plate and screws. The Dr told me that the metatarsals take the longest to heal. Be really careful with it and allow it to heal.
@danishpastry61372 ай бұрын
Yeah, metatarsals aren't teeny weeny, but are the longest bones in the foot (they connect to the toes and make up most of the flatter part of the foot) - I suspect it's a phalanx that's broken, as these don't need treatment (unless we're talking about dislocations). Metatarsal fractures sometimes require a cast of dome sort, and fractures of the 5th metatarsal can be problematic as the blood supply is less than the other metatarsals.

Hi Josie, sorry to hear about your foot. I would see a podiatrist and get an X-ray and MRI. I dropped a bar of soap on the top of my foot a few years ago. Luckily nothing was broken but it did take months to heal. Lots of ice, rest, and supportive shoes. Hope it gets better soon! ❤️🩹

Definitely go to a doctor - I fractured the 3rd metatarsal and had a boot to help manage recovery but didn't wear it all the time and it healed wonky
@debbievidal95362 ай бұрын
I agree. Why haven't you seen a doctor? Who strapped your foot up? Sometimes we can do more damage with the wrong bandage
@danishpastry61372 ай бұрын
If it is a metatarsal fracture, I'd definitely advise medical evaluation. As these bones aren't teeny weeny, it may be a phalanx fracture, these are generally treated very conservatively (no strapping, just sensible footwear). An MRI is probably overkill, most fractures will show up on x-ray.

I discovered your channel over a year ago and enjoy it all . Very uplifting. I want to find a Pilates class after watching your classes. I am always tickled when you talk about “wild swimming” whereas we call it swimming in the creek, lake, pond or rivers… 😀 Any time you can go to an Andre Boccelli concert is a wonderful event ! I have really enjoyed all your Summer dress choices and style this year with purses and jewelry…very crisp & stylish without being too much or out of place.❤I really love your current hair color - the highlights are beautiful yet look natural so don’t change it yet!!💕 Little Dex surely has the life!! I was told by my physio I could only go for short walks in v supportive trainers when I broke my toe. You could be causing more damage that you’ll regret down the road. The metatarsal bones take ages to heal and may require surgery. It’s so impt you get your foot xrayed.

I do find it sad with people in general these days, who cannot be parted from their phones for even a small window of time....like when gardening. I see people and it seems as though the phone has become a third hand or something. Try it Josie, leave the phone in the house, be "present" with your garden. If a plant needs photographing you can always go back in for it:).

the yellow H &M dress looked lovely with your tan. The gardens are wonderful. I fractured across the top of my foot, three bones when i fell down some badly made stairs, trying to save my new born in my arms. X ray showed the break. It took nearly a year to heal. I re injured it twice. Once digging in hard clay soil and at work. The last time took three years to heal as the tendons in my foot became very sore after walking. Massage and stretching exercises and shoes with a comfort foot bed helped. And magnesium spray on the sole of my foot. MSM is also good for rebuilding tissue.

The podiatrist recommended rest so cycling etc for exercise, limited walking, not walking on sand and two shoe brands. I already had the Hoka Bondi's but never thought I would wear Birkenstocks. The Birkenstock Arizona are brilliant. I will never be without them again. I did take some time to heal because I wouldn't stay off my feet so more rest would have been better. Also be very careful around small pathway stones. I found stepping on one a few months back re-injured my metatarsal. Hope you are healed soon
