Fun fact: When Sophist said Nick was rubbing honey on the wound, saying he thought it was the opposite of salt on the wound, that's actually true. I'm not a medical expert, but honey is actually good to rub on your wound, it can help disinfect it and helps it heal better. TL;DR: Sophist was saying that Nick was complimenting you after a bad situation, rather than insulting you further. (The latter is basically rubbing salt in the wound)
