To explain the patch of water for soldier rocket jumps, when you rocket jump in water you jump considerably higher than normally.

This gives me the vibes of a map I would create when I was in middle school on things like the Starcraft II map editor. I would just goof off and throw things I thought would be fun into the map withou any rhyme or reason, and certainly no consideration of balance.

I love the kitchen sink sort of design a lot of community maps have. It's really fun, especially for TF2 to just play around with a bunch of ridiculous and crazy mechanics and maps occasionally. It gets old after a bit, since they're usually terribly balanced, but I have a lot of nostalgia for maps like this

It's been interesting playtesting this map through development and seeing it go from a pretty standard koth map to whatever it is now. Definitely a weird one but kinda fun in it's own way.
