Fania Records NEVER assigned any of Celia Cruz's songs to her copyrights. They registered every single thing she ever did in their own name. Her copyright show up under FANIA, MASUCCI, his brother, etc. but not a dime of her royalties was ever paid to her. They paid her a paltry couple of bucks and sent her home. Total usery and to have someone sing to her and ignore this reality is total nonsense. And Jennifer Lopez will never be CELIA CRUZ.
