Woopi said something really striking here, she said that she got married 3 times because she just wanted to feel "normal", and this pretty much says it all, it speaks for the pattern I have just established, the subliminal bullying does exist. and it's everywhere in our interpersonal environment with people telling you, from very early, that you are not "normal" if you don't become a couple with someone, that you need to comply to doing what every body else does, otherwise you are not normal,

the priority, but mostly the dream. What so many others take forgranted, their independence and privacy, to me has always been a dream. I grew up sharing my bedroom with my two siblings, another girl and a boy. So whereas other women share dreams of finding a man, my dream was always to simply gain my privacy and independence, so that I could strive as a human being, so better than anyone I really appreciate having my room, my space, now that I finally got it!

And whenever I get it, and I don't have to struggle with my finances to keep it either, to me it's bliss and happiness, and nos so coincidently tose are the periods where I am also more creative, and therefore, again happy. So where does a man fall into that equation? I can fall for him, yes, but I certainly wont give up my dream, my hardly won acquired privacy and total and utter independence to accommodate him, and nor do I have to!
