Ha! So true. The burden of being a fisherman in these excessive modern times! Occasionally I do go out with a small handful of lures and one rod and it's a great feeling. Even though it's kind of like leaving the house without your cell phone, keys, wallet and clothes all at the same time!

The best catch was your friend getting your lure!! I lost the top 3 or 4 sections of my fishing pole once in a huge reservoir…my uncle put on a treble hook and a lead weight and actually managed to get it back off the bottom somehow!! That was 25+ years ago, I’ll never forget it. 1 in a million cast!!

Sam, I think all you need to do is to go to Minnesota where they are & as i found out the one time i did get out there it's such a great fishery there's no need to travel the States to find out some of the best fishing is in that area. Sometimes pike and Muskie and other bass try to grab the bait or fish out of the mouth of the fish that you have on your line. This sometimes contributes to how erratically the fish is fighting. My late dad hooked a sunfish on a worm and and as he was bringing it in, a large pike came up and ripped the sunfish off his line. It was funny, the pike sat in the current right in front of us as we looked off the bridge, chomping on that Pumpkinseed and taunting my dad.😆😂🤣

I love your channel. I'm a huge muskie fisherman from northern Pennsylvania. What you did in this video was simply awesome. That many muskies in one day doesnt happen often. If I could give you some advice beef up your gear a little bulldawg rods would work perfect for throwing bigger lures. Go to 80lb braid and some mono #130 leader. Bigger baits I'd recommend bulldawgs for that spillway. Only reason I say this is I'm willing to bet there are some absolute beasts in that spillway. I'd like to see you get a double nickle one out of there. Tight lines again love your videos.

Thanks! That’s about as big as the muskie get for now, they were all stocked 8-9 years ago so they’re all in that mid to high 30’s maybe 40” range.
