I want to ask, how do you calculate overall quality of life? On data processing in SPSS? Because WHOQOL - BREF has 4 domains in it, where each total score per domain already has a Transformed score table for each domain. I am confused about assessing overall quality of life in data processing in SPSS and its categorization? Can you help me by replying to my comment??

This is very detailed and understandable.Thanks for the teaching. I have a question to ask; these are raw scores of 45, 60, 40, 78, 80, 65 for 6 participants on who completed psychological domain. The scores are to be transformed to scores on the scale of 100,after I did my transformation, I realized the scores are higher than 100. Is this actually possible to have transformed scores higher than 100?

@@halahalenizi7 Welcome Halahalenizi, this is already Short version . and you can't use half, you can make self one but for it you have to provide justification from previous literature and also some pilot study....

But my question is how we will compute general overall quality of life? simply item 1+ item 2 = general overall qol? or we will follow similar procedure? like item 1+2= raw score one general overall QoL, then transform the score i.e [(raw score -2)/(10-2)*100] , is it so?? because on all 4 domains we calculate raw scores and then transform them, so what about the first 2 items? will they follow similar procedure?

I don't think so this can be use. it is for general overall quality of life assessment for specific condition related quality of life assessment you should search about it. i will suggest International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF) or Erectile Dysfunction Inventory of Treatment Satisfaction (EDITS). you should do some homework about it. I hope you understand

Reverse Scoring mean If the patient chose on Questionnaire score 5 , then in final calculations of Scoring you will take this as 1. and for 4 you will take 2, 3 will be 3 and and 2 will be 4 and 1 will be 5. I hope you can get now.

Actually I don't think so, Because for this I will recommend you some diseases specific Questionnaire like Gastointestinal Quality of Life Index or search little bit more. because in this study your objective is to assess the Quality of Life Affected by Ulcer but WHO-QOL Brief is very general.

Hello. Actually in this Questionnaire The Questions "G" are general questions which I mentioned in video should be score separately and The term F questions are specific facets like we have 4 facets ( physical, psychological, social, environmental)
