Arkham Knight looks amazing, but I also think it was down to the fact that they had a much smaller scope than most modern games do for their time of day / weather system and could mostly focus their energy on tweaking this one set of, relative, constants to such a high fidelity.

I mean both of the games are based off different things. Arkham knight was most likely made to be more serious while ssktjl was probably meant to be more goofy and just live up to the current game expectations which is looter shooters, and customization . And passes thanks to Fortnite
