I disagree _partially_ If you know how to use the red and black suit, you basically become a average DMC player. But to tell which is more powerful is also unclear, since Red is precision and stun, while Black is destruction and crowd control.

Web of Shadows had the most awesome combat system of Spider-Man games, also similar to Prototype, even got the bodyslide, which is always a plus. Also the swinging's still way better than Marvel' Spider-Man if only cause it actually keeps momentum.

I highly reccomend you research the game and its mechanics a lil more, it helps the gameplay exponentially. Things like hidden movement, the lil spider symbols across the map that help swing speed, black and red points, the combat styles of both the suits, and importantly, the decisions and how much they really matter. There are only 2 decisions that matter in the entire game, 1 was the black widow scene you already did and another one is a lil more towards the late game. All the other choices are obsolete, but those 2 are what determine the ending. Anyways its a great game and i really hope you enjoy it to the max.

Prototype was actually originally supposed to be a Spider-Man game but they changed it from what I hear which would explain all the mechanics in Prototype like Parkour and the game taking place in New York

And another fun fact is that, Web Of Shadows itself is re-using Spider-Man 3's game assets. Which means Prototype is a recycled game of a recycled game. 😂 However, Web Of Shadows was supposed to have a sequel indeed, taking place in the True Good Ending. The main vilain would have been Mysterio, and Carnage, and was supposed to be a simple Spider-Man Earth-616 game. The game was supposed to be named " Spider-Man : Classic ". But the studio shut down during game devellopement, cancelling Spider-Man : Classic. BUT... Activision saw that Spider-Man : Classic had potential, and got inspiration from the script. But they changed everything a bit, and made... Spider-Man : Shattered Dimensions.

Honestly if Insomniac's didn't exist, Web of Shadows is probably my favorite and the best Spider-Man game tbh. They're pretty tied to me, and I do love the whole morality system Web of Shadow's have. Wish Insomniac's had it imo, I'm a die hard Felicia Peter fan.

Replaying this game, never really noticed that Peter's own symbiote (Venom's son if you want to see it that way) must've really hated it's father as it was the only symbiote that fought other symbiotes. Maybe as the original Venom symbiote bonded with Brock and both shared the hate to Spider-man, the newborn symbiote as soon as bonded with Peter shared his hatred to Venom as well

Web of Shadows was one of my most favorite Spiderman games. I played it non-stop on Xbox 360. 🤩 Until I sold it so I could buy PS4 with the exclusive Spiderman game. I miss Web of Shadows and I also miss playing games on Xbox 360.😔 And would like to see you play more of this game. To answer this question, yes and it is only tied with ultimate spiderman on the gamecube. These are the only two spiderman games that feature venom and don't make him a complete chump of a character and spiderman and just the game overall is true to the comics. Before I played it, if you told me web of shadows was loosely based on a spiderman comic then I would have believed it. The only part I hated about it was the fact that I think every console it was on had the ability to change into different suits except for the 360 version, still an amazing game though that I play to this day.
