Salute sir! Asma Jahangir was such a brave person, a true inspiration for the youth especially and for people of Pakistan in general. But there is an important question.. whether they will take inspiration from her. Some will for sure, most will not. I consider myself unlucky because I learned about her posthumously, actually only very recently. As I continue my research about her, I realize that Pakistan has faced a huge loss (this phrase is not equivalent to the one used for cricket matches). I wish I could have met her and learned something. Most Pakistanis, engulfed in their ignorance don't realize her importance. I always heard words like traitor, anti-Pakistan etc. about her from the people who have no idea what Patriotism is, just what they heard and read on media or social media. I will request all Pakistanis to start reading History, Philosophy and Literature... if you want true liberation and freedom. Start reading BOOKS. Leave aside these course books, don't give them much attention, just bare minimum is sufficient. Also sir, I started your wonderful series on History of Philosophy long time ago but couldn't complete it because I found Bertrand Russel's History of Western Philosophy but then I couldn't complete it as well. Life took over and I have been waiting the day to start it again ever since.

There is no shortcut way of democracy. Means initiatially it will appear like anarchy. But to some extent it will take institutional shape. Ita needed to be continued. In militarily dictatorship happens just the reverse. At the beginning everything seems supper bat later extreme flaws come out. Onething we need to understand there no flawless state proposition. Democracy is the 2nd best.First one is not discoverd yet.

Might be partially true. How would u explain her support for the biggest oppressor in Pakistan: nawaz sharif, who actually distorted the whole fabric of Pakistani society and the biggest bigot who becomes flag bearer of Islamic ideology when it suits him and becomes liberal when liberalism advances his interests.
