Surah Ibrahim (14:18) The example of those who disbelieve in their Lord is [that] their deeds are like ashes which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day; they are unable [to keep] from what they earned a [single] thing. Mostly Ghamdi sb's point of view about various religious matters has been very logical. Am reading his translation of Quran e Pak these days which is in very simple and good Urdu. But I am sorry to say his political maturity and thinking leaves much to be desired. It would be appropriate if he leaves these matters to others. I am shocked to hear him praising that woman so whole heartedly who falls much short of that level. Can Ghamdi Sahib give one example where this so called champion of Human rights condemned India over it's brutality over the people of Kashmir? She was very quick to give full support to the factions of Rebels in Baluchistan but she never raised her voice for the Muslims of India. She could to India and meet Bal Thakurey in Hindu colored dress but not speak a word to favour indian Muslims. . Her support to the Terrorist was immediate as Mr Ghamdi has mentioned But it was not that much of Hub e Ali it was actually Bughaz e Muawiyah. She was always quick and ever ready to condemn those because of which this country is still maintaining it's independence But she never bothered to say a word against those two major political parties big wigs who plundered and looted this nation mercilessly and shamelessly. Because she got tonnes of it herself in one way or other. I wish Mr Ghamdi know how much loads of Money is required to win the election of Pakistan bar council? She won it but who sponsored her with loads of Money?? Ghamdi sb has mentioned and praised about the recent meeting held on her death anniversary. I wish he knew who sponsored that meeting? Few foreign countries who have never done anything good for this country and were enjoying listening to the trash spoken in that meeting. I say trash because it was nothing else which even forced the CJP to respond to some extent. This is the second commentary Mr Ghamdi has given in recent few weeks in which he has given out his mindset about various political matters. And his views have really shocked me. These are highly defective and erroneous to say the least. How can a person of his stature whom I had been valuing so high can be so naive is beyond my comprehension. In the other post of his he was all praise for a judge of Supreme Court who's conduct is highly objectionable. In one Case of Sharif family he gave a decision which only a blind person or an extremely corrupt judge could give. In his personal matters he or his wife completely failed to give any satisfactory answer or Money trail for the Property his children holds who owned them when they were minors. He could save his skin only because majority of his colleagues ganged up to save him. I am really astonished and shocked. I will strongly suggest Mr Ghamdi to first at least take the trouble of getting complete information about political matters and then give his comments.. I just don't know how can I continue reading his translation and Tafseer of Quran e Pak when I have felt so disheartened by his these views?? The castle of his whole personality has collapsed in front of me!! Khair I am nobody for him or otherwise.. and my views won't make any difference for him..... extremely saddened..

One wonders why Ghamidi Saheb has chosen to delve into the business of showering accolades on controversial personalities at the expense of his high stature. She was mostly found speaking against the military, supporting, benefiting and fighting cases of corrupt politicians and using her high stature in the judiciary--for example in successfully pleading for judicial permission for an anti state agent like Hussain Haqqani before the Supreme Court of Pakistan to leave the country who later refused to return--as was expected--for further proceedings of the treason case against him. Being in the lime light among the only few pioneer women lawyers in the country ahead of time, she was able to take full gender advantage in creating her own political clout and space while getting away several times on her compromising role on several critical issues to suit her own convenience and expediency.

I have enormous respect for Javed Ghamidi sb as a scholar and intellectual. However regarding his veiled remarks, which show his social and political leanings, I respectfully disagree with them. I used to place a lot of trust in Ghamdi Saheb's religious research and education. But recently he has exposed his political views and leaning which makes me wonder whether to continue to trust him for what he has been preaching.
