I have hella crooked nails and I always thought it was normal for nail techs to just go with the natural direction of your nails when I’d ask them and they always told me that was just my nails. Then I started doing my own and realized that I could work around it to make it appear a little straighter. There’s only so much they can do with mine because my fingers kind of curve inward but for most people I wonder how many times those nail techs I used to go to would not finesse it and blame the client 😂

The easiest way to know if it's actually crooked is if it lines up with the sides of the nail and turning your palm towards your face with all fingers touching and if the nail tip is actually crooked it'll be overlapping the nails

@@peachyjuice incorrect, ask your nail tech how they REALLY feel about drawing frenchies and how much she enjoys doing them. I’m sure she will say it took A LOT of practice to perfect them. Each french tip is literally hand drawn, are you able to hand draw french on both your hands? I’ll assume no but maybe you’re superhuman idk 😆. French is probably the most difficult thing us nail techs learn in school because all ten fingers need to look identical, that type of accuracy only comes with practice. I hope you have a clearer understanding of what I’m laying down. ☺️

I want my nail to flow but I 100% understand that most would want their whole hand flow together and fingers look straight not just the natural nail flow. Even if a client’s finger or nail is crooked, it's the nail technician's job and expertise to make the necessary adjustments to achieve a flawless look. Not everyone has immaculate nails and hands. When I was in middle school, I had a wart on the inner side of my right index finger, near the cuticle. This wart caused my nail to grow outward slightly, toward my thumb. For years, I tried hiding it and felt self-conscious. Now that I’m older, I’m grateful to have full use of my hands and fingers, and that I still have my nail. Life could be much worse. I’m perfectly imperfect in so many ways, and fully embrace it. I’m sure God had a difficult time creating who and what I am. I appreciate what I have to work with.🥰🙏🏼♥️

I’m a nail tech and if your fingers are a little bit crooked you need to place the form, tip or nail extension also a little bit crooked for it to look straight and not bump into your other finger and nail. You can’t follow the natural shape of your finger because then it looks like in the video, and it’s really uncomfortable for the client, and it also looks really bad 😅.
