Tbh, really love how the dystopian setting changed from "the surface is ruined" into "ark is a false paradise." (It is said that the Surface is striving despite raptures have invaded the world, both animals and plants, while ark is slowly revealing something worse, and it's not the people in it (most at least))

The escapee thing is pretty interesting as well, means at least 1 of the 7 got away. Might be Chatterbox as well, since that is like the only male machine/Nikke/Rapture up there

If I may theorize: The thing I found most interesting during this ending are the words: "He is not a failure, nur an escapee,..." So, can we assume someone managed to escape? What happened? Who? And right now, I'm thinking of Chatterbox. Remember in Chapter 6 when we got captured by Chatterbox? When he was asking us those questions? Specifically: "Where are you from?" and "Were you ever sick as a child?" Ok, the first one makes sense now, it could have been Eden I guess. But the other one? He calls the commander human but calls the Nikke "human imposters"? Is it because that's technically correct, or is there more to that? And since that chapter these questions pop into my head everytime we encounter Chatterbox. Maybe im just crazy. Chatterbox lore when?

What if everything is just a lie? What if this "they" don't want to defeat the raptures, what if they knew Red Shoes' plan all along and encouraged/let it play out to stop the queen being defeated as she is tied to the cores at the lift and the Ark? What if the commander is a perfect hybrid between human/rapture? Ok the last one is probably a bit far fetched, but the others seem reasonable due to the Rapi Event.

"They" is likely D.E.E.P.. Remember that she kept referring to herself as "we" and "us". Plus this came out right after that event. Plus, D.E.E.P. is the guardian of the Ark, as per her own self description, and Jien said something along the lines of "The Ark is always listening/watching" I'm 95% sure D.E.E.P. is the "they" Missilis keeps talking about.
