I do like that camera mount. As you stated I can't believe most of these camera companies haven't been making them sooner. I do remember another company making something similar. I just can't remember which one. Can you give us a ballpark quote on the monthly subscription per camera? I have a Moultrie EDGE and it works OK but the range for it is ridiculous. I tested it out and I had to walk to within 20-30 feet before it catches motion. I had it watching a food plot all deer season and expected it to give me tons of pictures of deer at my licking branch in the back part of the clover plot. All my regular trail cameras could make that range but not the EDGE. I never hunted there once during the season because I was not getting any pictures. So I went and tested the camera and found out it just didn't have a very good detection range on it at all. You may want to test those cameras out as well for the range. Thanks for the video. When i tried solar panels the squirrels ate the wiring like it was candy. The Moultrie panel i had you could not buy new wiring for it.

Here's the cure for critters chewing on exposed wires. Wrap them end to end in duct tape. You will never have an eaten wire again. I've done this many times and never hide a wire chewed up again. I don't know what it is about the duct tape but they won't touch it.

So, any update? Ive seen other reviews that have said everything that you found, except, the camera stops working after about a week or so and has to be turn off and back on. It works a week or so and shuts off again. Have you had this problem?
