I love that she listens to Smashing Pumpkins and Lana Del Rey. I love Billie Ellish too, but her song in the Barbie movie and its soundtrack “What Was I Made For?” was kind of depressing for me to hear. They didn’t really have to play it again during the end credits. That’s what I had to stop watching the movie (even though the film was very fantastic indeed). No, it’s not a bad song. It’s a good song about who you are and what you’re doing. It fits well for Margot’s Barbie, because she wants to become a human even though she knows that we humans don’t live for long. That scene was way too emotional for me to watch. That’s why I had to stop watching the film. But I’m kind of happy and glad that Oppenheimer won for Best Picture at the Oscars though.

I really wish & hope that Zoe Saldana one day comes back as Gamora in the future. But if she really wants an amazing young woman of color to take where she left off, then I say let’s cast Ariana Greenblatt as the new Gamora in a spin-off for the MCU. She previously played a younger version of Gamora in Avengers: Infinity Wars (2018) when she was, I guess, 8-9. Now she’s like 16-17. Ari even said on her Feb 2022 Instagram live that it would be dope if she comes back as Gamora, so I don’t see why Marvel can’t cast her as the next Gamora. Imagine if her former Disney Stuck In The Middle co-star/ sister Jenna Ortega gets cast as Nebula (wearing a bald cap) in this. I would love for them to reunite. They’re kind of like sisters in real-life. No matter what happens, Zoe Saldana WILL always be our Gamora 💚

I really wish & hope that they actually make a Barbie sequel soon (maybe an Allan spin-off. And a Ken spin-off). This time, maybe make a sequel a comedy, fantasy, romance, and musical this time. Hope Greta Gerwig returns to write & direct and Margot Robbie to produce and return as Barbie (now goes by Barbara Handler after being turned into a human at the end of the film. Also I hope all the actors returns too like Ryan Gosling (Beach Ken), America Ferrera (Gloria), Ariana Greenblatt (Sasha; based on Bratz), Kate McKinnon (Weird Barbie), Michael Cera (Allan), Issa Rae (President Barbie) Alexandra Shipp (Writer Barbie), Dua Lipa (Mermaid Barbie), John Cena (Mermaid Ken), Helen Mirren (Narrator), Will Ferrell (Mattel CEO), Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Kingsley Ben-Adir all return to reprise their roles. Also, I think Mark Ronson should come back to compose and write more songs for the sequel, and some cast members sing. Maybe ask Sia and Jack Antonoff who compose write and perform an original song. Maybe for Ryan Gosling’s Ken and maybe for Emma Stone’s Midge when she fall in love with Gosling’s Ken. Not just Stone, but also new cast should appear, like Emily Blunt, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh, and especially Cillian Murphy as Human verison of Ken in the real world, who’s Sasha’s teacher and Robbie’s Barbara’s love interest. Emma Stone should definitely play Midge, who falls in love with Ryan Gosling’s Ken, and I think Mark Ronson should write a song for them to perform a duet. They both previously sang 2 duets in La La Land (What A Waste of a Lovely Night) and (City of Stars). Imagine if all of the actors do their own dancing and singing like a musical Broadway. Ryan Gosling and his Ken cast killed at at the Oscars! Love the part when he gave the mic to Robbie, Gerwig, and Ferrera, especially Stone, thanking them all for being a part of his life! Billie Eilish is a great, fantastic singer too, but her & her brother Finneas’ song “What Was I Made For?” was way too sad & depressing for me to hear. I mean, I know it fits well for Barbie showing that she wanted to be a human (even though we humans don’t stay on earth 🌍 forever), it didn’t really have to play the 2nd time in the end credits. Way too depressing. That’s why I stopped watching Barbie (even though that film was still fantastic). I really hope a sequel happens soon.
