Yeah this was the last true test I want you put it through and I feel it’s a well rounded boat but still it shines the beat in big flow

Nice video Wade ! Just like most of our creeks we have around here ! There are a few with a lot more water - so having this boat, a half slice, then some type of full slice (been eyeing the Homeslice) would wrap it up for me. Thanks as usual for the video!

Thanks hunter and I hopefully will have a home slice review coming soon I paddled it but was just briefly in eddy line

Plenty of fallen timber and mank to negotiate on that one ! Scorch looked good - turns quick enough for the tight lines and stayed bow up in the drops. I like the look of it.

Yeah the rapids are not that difficult in there but all the sneaky trees makes it extremely dangerous in a few spots

When you can, try to put your camera in the support of the Stern, so you can see the Kayak better and how it behaves in the water, it is more interesting than seeing the tip of the Kayak all the time, thanks for the video you have shared .

I will see what I can do its a lot more difficult to paddle with those mounts on there and I will; have to overlay the audio because you will not hear me from there

After you moved the seat forward from the first video.. Do you still feel that stern still catches like it had originally?
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
I never moved the seat I just decided to tightened up Little better and kept paddling it in the center I got used to when to get weight forward to predict that stren edge load and just went with it I’m curious when the medium comes in how it’s going to paddle with my weight I was little light for the L

Great video! Can’t wait till mine comes in. We’re close to the same weight. Do you think you’ll be better suited in the medium? That’s what I have on the way.
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
Race and big water yes i would be fine in the L but all round boat I feel I would want to be little smaller I have not seen the medium yet so can not say how it fits but if it was me and the scorch M and scorch X would be a 1-2 combo that would be awesome
@dylancarr10363 жыл бұрын
@@WadeHarrison can’t wait for mine to get here. Looks like a sweet boat. This video answered my only concerns with the aggressive edges. Will it handle the SE Mank. Looks like you answered my question. Looks like it can handle the most extreme mank we have if it can handle WFT. Thanks again for the video.
@WadeHarrison3 жыл бұрын
@@dylancarr1036 yeah I had several paddlers messaging asking how it handles on lower volume rivers and I wanted to try to answer that question and if you look the edges are sharp but what Pyranha did was lift them higher then the flat surface of the hull so the edges come in to play when you lean or are in bigger flows you actually don’t feel them catching a lot and I did note that I’m in the L the medium might be different because it will in theory float me lower in the water key me know when yours comes in I like to hear your opinion on what you think

Absolutely. Sure you can Scorch the Tuck. You can take a door off its hinges and take it down the Tuck if you edge it correctly every micro second. To each his own. Ramsey Prong at high water? Just give me the video rights on a Scorch lap and I could retire early.
