Why 120 FOV Might Not Be The Best FOV In Warzone

Great review on the pros and cons. I haven’t played COD in several months but just got a 32:9 aspect ratio monitor and I’m figuring out the sweet spot there. I’m leaning toward a lower FOV now to increase the size of the player models

1. FOV affects fps, it will lower it; rare cases where it doesnt 2. FOV doesnt affect sens, HOWEVER, with lower fov it looks more zoomed it so to your brain it may appear faster 3. Higher FOV better for CQC (wider view) , lower FOV better for long range (more zoomed in) 4. Lower FOV will make aim assist feel stronger 5. Dont overthink it, play whatever feels the best

120 makes the players way too small. Mixed with the vegetation in this game, you can't see shite. I had to turn it back to 110. I find that's a sweet spot.

Thanks for the video In my opinion balance in life is most important before personal preference because you can’t invent the wheel new. You have to engage short medium and long shorter or later. When you watch CDL pros they play also 90-100 fov and for warzone probably 110 at max.

If your gonna play slow and mostly snipe or shoot people from afar use low fov but if your aggressive and go close and personal while using movements use high fov such as 110-120 i prefer doing both so i use 105

Above 110 in most games the perspective at the edge of your screen gets real crappy. 110 is the sweet spot for that too it's un noticable on 110. The highest fov my brain is willing to take is 135 but that's really stretching the limits(literally), you most be a damn owl to use such fov as your go to one. Fun fact: 110 is also the default max for gmod and apex legends (and the source engine in general)

A higher FOV makes a worId of difference! I only played Warzone on consoIe. I played a multiplayer match in Cold war with a FOV of 110 and literally played the best I have ever played. I’m an average player and casual one as well but even I noticed huge increase in my gameplay. Everything was better.

What would be the best FOV for laptop gaming 15” I noticed at 90fov it’s hard to see things sorta it’s different from my TV and monitor going to my laptop.

Looks more fast n smooth on 120 tho but 105 or 110 would be balanced

120 make the camera less shaky, feel faster and see more players at the edges. yes, players look smaller, but you should get used to it and will be better at it by the time. Also, 120 make your aim more stable (make sure to enable custom sensitivity per each zoom). Good video.

its really personal preference if u want to try and get used to 120 or go down to maybe near 110. but i play 112 fov and my buddy krumvista plays 110 fov and hes the best player ive ever met.

Another thing to consider, does higher FOV require more power from your PC; frames.

i dont think it does. i think regardless of fov its just the amount of pixels the gpu has to render so i think its just dependent on what you set ur render resolution to in game plus obviously what your graphics setting are.

sorry for the late reply i switch my sens quite often but recently ive been liking 3.09 on 1600dpi or 28cm/360 but i also really like 2.7 on 1600dpi or 32cm/360

Also found 110 to be a good balance feels better then 120 and 105 and I certainly felt the improvement through gameplay.

Im actually thinking between going 120 fov and 104, 120 is like a mist go from pros perspective, but somewhy i aim better on 104, m&k btw, and WZ2 btw.
