Hi Isaac, I would say you are right near the edge of your towing capacity but still very doable. Just make sure your trailer is level to avoid sway and overload on your hitch a watch your trans temp.

If you are towing over 70% of your trucks towing capacity and something did happen where you killed or injured someone, you would be hosed. Just something to keep in mind.

You won’t find any factual info on this. Why, because it’s false. You can be “hosed” towing an empty 6x10 utility trailer if negligents is involved.

Of it's loaded properly axle wise you'd be fine but if not that's when you would get in major trouble.

It’s gonna be normal to have sway in your travel trailer. I own a 32 ft travel trailer and we have sway bars on it and it helps a lot with sway. And when we upgraded from our old trailer we got a new hitch and sway bars and we could feel a difference from the old sway bars. If you are only going 10 miles from where you are going to go camping you will be ok without them. But something that is a bit longer you’ll defiantly want them as they will make a big difference when towing. Because the goal with them is to make the trailer and the truck act as one unit but and not two separate things. Nice video I look forward to your future videos.

the 3/4 ton diesel will be better towing a 6,500 lbs boat long distances. Also its a bigger cooler truck!

I have a 2018 22 MXZ I pull with a 2015 GMC 2500 with the diesel engine. Plenty of tow capacity ratings. The diesel engine and transmission are awesome when towing but I do sacrifice a nicer ride compared to the 1/2 ton when not towing. BTW, my 22 MXZ is almost the same color as your 22 MXZ.
