The line voltage of 3 phase power supply comes to 400 volts AC, not 600 or 660 volts for phase voltage of 220 or 230 volts, is explained in Hindi in the video. It will not be 600 or 660 volts due to the vector difference of phase voltage. Phase and line voltage relation explained. The difference between scalar addition and vector addition is explained. The method of finding the difference between vector quantities (Vector subtraction) is also explained. An educational tutorial on 3 phase power supply system, electrical and electronics engineering 339 in Hindi by G K Agrawal (Gopal Krishna Agrawal). Sir good evening,agar kisi Ghar me 3 phase supply ja Raha hai, to waha agar R phase,Y phase & neutral de Diya Jaye to Kya 400 v supply jayega???,aur 3phase induction motor me jab single phasing ho jaati hai,tab to 2 phases availability KE bawjood motor ki stator winding damage ho jaati hai,to aisa kyun,motor ko to 415v chahiye wo 2 phases se hi mil jaegi,to phir bhi motor ki stator winding kyun damage hoti hai???,plz reply sir

3 phase Motor ko 400 volts 3 phase chahiye. Single phase 400 volts nahi.

Basically for three phase system , hum phase volatge ke √3 multiply karte hai. Agar aap 230 se √3 multiply karoge to 398 aayega. For ease in remeber and as voltage is bever constant hum ise 400 leke chalte hai. Now if u have doubt ki √3 se hi kyu multiple karte. I suggest aap phasor diagram ko refer karo
