50 Cent doesn't speak on the reason Jay Z and Roc nation dislikes him. He is very one sided about why many people dislike him when its the same reason he dislikes anyone who aligns with people he dislikes. Double Standards galore.

@LilHondaCivic808 I have NEVER caused undue harm to another black person in my adult life ever. 50 Cent has gone out of his way to cyber harass Rick Ross BM, which cost him $7 million, with revenge po rn. 50 cent harassed his own son publicly for fun just to embarass him. 50 bullied and play industry games with the Js to stop black artists careers in hip-hop. So I don't hate Curtis more than he has actively hated black people in real life.

@@LilHondaCivic808If you like 50 Cent you are just a follower, a member of the herd, a hater. 50 Cent is the head hater. JaRule wasn't trying to kill him, Preme was, he simply wanted JaRule’s spot. Once the FBI eliminated Murda Inc., for 50 Cent, he started singing just like him. He is a deadeat daddy, they don't deserve respect. If the roles were reversed, and he were in Jay Z’s position, you better believe Jay Z would not have performed at the Super Bowl that night. He can save the crybaby antics. 50 Cent brings conflict and chaos to everything he does with other black people. His tactics are different against the white folks.

Exactly this. It's obvious too if you know anything about 50 Cent. He's the embodiment of greed. Everything he does revolves around money and power. Drake is the money maker, and he's much more willing to let people use him than someone like Kendrick is. While Kendrick has basically walled off himself and his brand on an independent label, Drake is constantly selling his brand to anyone who wants to make money off it. For 50, Drake is a business opportunity. He couldn't care less what happens to Drake, he just wants a cut of the pie.

Meh. 50 Cent's point of view is and always has been "don't win too much in front of people. The moment you do, people will hate". That's not what happened between Drake and Kendrick. Just like 50 knew he was a better, more authentic rapper than Ja Rule, Kendrick knew he was better than Drake. But you know..."oh they hating because I'm winning" that mindset influences 50's take. Would 50 say Ja Rule lost because he was too successful? Doubt it.

50 was beefing with his own label around the rollout of Curtis. 50 thinks well if everyone has issues with Drake it must be pure jealousy or because he has too much power in the industry. It can't be that Drake has burned too many bridges. I imagine that's probably how he also viewed his own situation when he had issues with other artists and industry figures. 50s situation and Drake's situation are entirely different imo and can't really be compared. 50 sees himself in Drake but I think 50 is doing himself a disservice with this comparison.

If you read 50 book you understand how he thinks. The man is a great artist but he has the hustler mindset first and foremost, i think he respect Drake because Aubrey is a lot like him Say what you want about Drake art but his moves in the industry are incredible, the man rather collaborate with other writter to keep his flow updated, incorporate other genres and accents to his music to keep updated, and ALWAYS is jumping on new artists songs to renew his fanbase All the reasons why hip hop purist hate Drake are the same reasons why he is able to maintain such success for so long and he is still going, even now with this terrible PR he has he continues to be the most streamed artist and his Spotify listeners starting to look normal again Kendrick is an artist he'll never compromize his art for numbers or relevancy, Drake and 50 are guys that would do anything for the bag and to be on top i think thats why he see himself more in Drake

Like Drake, 50 has a really good ear for melodies and strong hooks (Pimp, 21 Questions, Down on Me--the latter of which is a masterpiece imo) and wrote songs like "Paradise" for LL Cool J and "Wifey" for Next. The irony is that for all of his clowning on Ja Rule for singing and being a fake gangsta, part of what helped 50 climb to the top was him singing...a lot.

Fat Joe’s crew on multiple occasions ran down on members of Gunit and never the other way around While 50cents street life might have been more authentic than most rappers, guys who were street legends or with stronger street affiliations (Like Diddy, being the son of a street legend, Fat Joe with stronger street ties) never took 50 serious or looked at him as a threat.

Kendrick makes music. Drake makes jingles. 50 and Drake are very much alike . The main difference is that 50 was from the streets. 50 was never an artist at heart. He wanted to be successful and he did. His plan was to leave the music part to g unit early on so that he can go be a businessman. But g unit failed basically so he had to be a rapper much longer . He said that more or less in interviews. You think 50 understands or gives a shit about art and morals and helping people to emotionally evolve? Nah bro

Don’t know why 50s support benefits Drake. 50 isn’t relevant anymore (at least not in music), 50 has nothing on Kendrick, and I’ve always felt that the East Coast supported Drake more than Kendrick. Plus KDot had the support of Dr. Dre. And we all know 50 owes all his success to the Doc

Em would definitely bring out Dre and 50 if the Superbowl was in Detroit and he was the headliner. Those two dudes are like his brothers. Game is off base with that comparison. Now if Trick Trick was the headliner no, there wouldn’t be anyone from New York or L.A. on the bill.

remember at the beginning of the beef after pushups when 50 was glazing drake talking about "Leave this man alone I know how this ends"? 🤣 come to think about it... 50's only decisive rap victory has been against ja rule. he lost to kanye, lost to ross, lost to game, lost to jadakiss, lost to nas, and fell off after his second album. he actually has a terrible track record and terrible takes when it comes to music based beefs - and it's not talked about enough.

That's just based on loosely hearing him for a long time, I don't know the 50 catalog. @jayphilly1703
@jayphilly1703 2 ай бұрын
What was Kendrick chosen for??? I don't understand what you are saying? Kendrick had to fight for the position he was giving off pure talent and growing up in Compton. A real rags to riches story. Drake been linked to J Prince and Cash Money from the beginning and now had the mega UMG machine behind him. Drake was never no underdog story, in fact, many figured Drake would have won the beef.
@1988jeffy
@1988jeffy 2 ай бұрын
He wasn't 'just' chosen, his talent was identified, hand he is an 80s baby, born and bred in Bompton, West Side Piru territory - those are his day ones. He had to grow up without getting lost in street shit and hone his skills. Kendrick had to beat those odds, as did others who made it. They are the very rare exceptions. Kendrick was authentically of the culture as it gets.... Drake wasn't and considering how much of an outsider he was, and genuinely uncultured - this dude went up to flex without some bars ready - Drake was really picked. Core hiphop clowned him but its just a fraction of the shit his peers had to go through. You think a complete outsider could walk into the culture to get the hiphop aesthetic, likeness, persona needed to reach a huge audience without catching jokes lol?

@@jayphilly1703 I agree with you whole heartedly, what I meant by chosen is He was picked by Dr Dre to be on that stage at the Super bowl,,and actually so was Eminem, but 50 was more like a plus 1 , from what was said he wasn't even wanted,,,, and another thing , I get 50 is a good business man but believe me he answers to people who will take him down like they have many other brother's who gets big and forget they are really not the Boss., I mean do people really believe 50 is where he's at without getting sh####t on his nose.......

@@debrab3738 That's not entirely true.....Dr. Dre and especially Eminem wanted 50 cent to perform, it was Roc Nation that wanted nothing to do with 50 cent because of his beef with Jay-Z. Em literally told them that he would not performed unless 50 cent is apart of the show and since it was the show honoring Dr. Dre and his success. Not having Em would not have been as impactful considering that they wanted the show to demonstrate how great Dr. Dre has been through out the years in hip hop.
