Hello from Australia. I'm 68, fit and healthy, work out every day no matter what the weather. I have at least a years worth of preps, including water, for myself and my dogs. I also have a tricycle with trailer to bugout if necessary and I have 3 ways to cook without power. I'm working on a solar power system this year. My 2 bugout locations have supplies buried and hidden. I have been on this journey since I was 15. Made a lot of mistakes and have learned from them. Thank you.

One years supply of food and water , first aid kit ( added to it ) ,2 years fire wood , 7 solar generators and a gas generator to charge them in one hour Propane and butane cooking stoves . Can live for one year without leaving my home but guess what . Broke my hip in February ( live alone ) . Could not get up to reach the land line to call 911 . Was on the floor from 10;00 to 4;00 am . Remembered I had an emergency phone at the end of the table I could reach ( do not use a cell phone-only for emergenceys ) . Dialed 911 . Paramedics can not enter my home . Told them I had a key under the shed - can not find it . Half hour later pop the door open (found the hidden key just like I told them it was ) . Forgot one prep . Alert button ( a cell phone works if you carry it on you all the time ) . Key on a tree they can find if they need to get in . At 73 never thought I could not open the door for help . Now I have a key they can find . You never have all your preps . Always something you forget .

To all of the city people who bought a cabin in the country to 'bug out' to. When you get there, Billy Bob and all of his buddies watched you on weekends installing solar panels, a generator, fuel tanks, etc, etc and they moved in OR stole everything you stocked inside and all of your tech. Good luck!

Something as simple as getting tripped on a root and falling could ruin your day or your life depending on many factors come in to play. Did you hit your head or break your arm? Did you hurt your back? Are you alone?...

Many years ago while Deer hunting with my Father I stepped on a downed tree, it gave way my foot hit the ground and my body went forward, needless to say I destroyed my right knee, was sure glad I wasn’t alone….

In the future, it would be nice if you could address senior citizens in apartment buildings without the ability to garden outside my hydroponic gardens are good for lettuce, spinach kale, and Swiss chard and that’s only if I have electricity I have many number 10 cans of food probably about 130 I have toiletry supplies, medical supplies, minor protection, such as a special prop for my door a machete and mace lots of water should probably get more. I have three ways to cook besides my electric stove , but I live in a building with 114 other apartments. I am on the top floor and it is a brick building and it is the safest place to be. But these prepper channels never seem to address the needs of us seniors with minor disabilities or people in general with major disabilities and nobody to lean on

A real need is water. There is no way water will pumped to your apartment building in a grid down situation. You definitely need to store way more water than you think you will need. Or just put your faith in God! It's not too late to surrender your life to God as you understand him. We are all going to die someday, at least our bodies will. So just learn to accept it.

given that only a single percentage rate of the population are any kind of prepper the failure rate will be a lot higher that 90%, most will fail without "the system" in place.

solar panels already living off grid having lithium batteries, and inverter to power your house amplifying power. Windmills are good. But if you live next to a river, you can have Hydro electric power.

Growing your own food in the first year will be pointless as the unprepared will take the lot, you can maybe defend it from say a dozen , but can you defend it from a few thousand
