I’m a RN, a very good one at that. I’m also a married mom of three amazing human beings, one of which has special needs and another who is a literal baby model. I’m super focused on creating generational wealth for my kids, especially the one with special needs. Over the past year I’ve been trying to figure out if I’m burned out or bored & needing to go back to school. After having our last baby I’ve discovered I really enjoy shopping, photographing, and sending things out (amongst other new hobbies) and recently cut back my RN hours. I have a solid 5 stars on multiple platforms but I’m super disorganized and get discouraged by this because I know I could be more productive. I love when your videos pop up bc it’s that extra motivation when I’m feeling down. Plus, I always get something out of them. Thanks for sharing your experience & tips with us folks who are trying to make it. I’m looking forward to being in that 0.3% group. 🙏🏾

My husband always thought it was easy to be a reseller, he tried and couldn’t do it . I started on eBay with lesportsac bags and I also sold other things but I did it part time, while going to school and teaching. I have always loved reselling. I use to list 30 to 40 items a day. I always have been able to find the items , the problem I have is consistency because I am a caregiver and being chronically ill. I been off for 2 years and now I am getting back in to it regardless of how bad I feel. I literally have a Goodwill in walking distance. I find things there and it is a small store. Listening to you has helped me tremendously. Hoping to join the group . Thanks so much for sharing . 🎉

True on the life circumstances-lost both parents, my daughter, three dogs, two cats and became disabled-losing a career two years after finishing my Masters degree. Reselling hit & miss through it all. Not always successful but always learning. Sending prayers to those facing terminal illness!

Wow being 16 months old selling and still making it by makes me proud. I was lucky, sourced low end cards super low and in bulk. Fell in love and had the right advice come when needed. Time made it. I have a structured day shipping in am. Work on page, goals early day. Break until evening. Then list at night. Just obtained card scanner and can't wait to bulk up now that I have solid foundation. I'm ready to make my mark

I list whatever I find at home. I have a small condo, not enough room so I end a listing and resell again. I'm not going out and buying stuff I have no place to put it? Great video though. I always learn something. 😊

I do believe listing some items take longer than others. For instance, all I sell is jewelry and some accessories and I also have 2 part-time jobs, so it can be challenging to list 10 a day, especially with researching, too. I love re-selling jewelry, but it's not the easiest item to take pictures, post, research, etc.

Yes, it takes time to build community were people feel connected & supported & add value to each other but it can be done and is being done. I belong to two such reseller communities and what's amazing is each week I discover there are even more small informal group communities out there supporting and helping each other.

My son was born December 19. His b day always gets over shadowed by Christmas. I started celebrating his half b day when he was very young. Some people think it’s silly. I’ve a;ways enjoyed it. I take home some place special and get him a large gift that I generally couldn’t afford around Christmas.

You are awesome, Chris. My Poshmark stint started in 2019, just selling my daughter's used clothing. What I found was that the deeper I got into it, the more I loved it. I'm still happy doing reselling, but I am also learning so much from your podcasts and videos. I am not to the point that I can afford your membership...yet! But, I am working toward that. I value your knowledge. I am a college grad and would absolutely love to supplement my income. However, where I live, it's difficult. I'm still brainstorming that and love the optimism for the future of reselling. Thank you for sharing your wealth!!❤ BTW, I am 72 yrs old and can never see myself not doing anything. Reselling works for me in retirement.

Love your content! My question is what do you do for vacations? Can you freeze your accounts? FYI I am a real estate investor doing reselling as a hustle on the side. My RE advice is to not go to the bank for your RE deals. There is money everywhere. I love RE.

I saw a video today and the person said I list items that people want but he didn't know why he has slow/no sales. So they were blaming eBay and advised his following to basically start cross listing. I found it quite entertaining while I was preparing my orders for shipment. Yes we hit a little bit of a slow down but what business doesn't have slow downs. Everything has picked back and on track for year over year growth.

I enjoy the shopping part,but I hate the posting because Im always so busy at a fulltime job and 4 kids. I get up at 4 am and post for 1 hour then start the morning routine of getting kids to school and etc etc. i have become a hoarder. I sell only sell 1 item a month.😢

Everyday. You can pre-list and have your lists in "the bank" so maybe you list 10 one day but only post 5 and post the next five the next day. Always have a Bank.

If it’s small and a high end item then yeah, for example I’ve bought and sold lululemon tops and leggings with small marks on them before, but nothing that someone would notice and not on an already low dollar item.

And by notice I mean something very obvious larger than a pen mark for example, otherwise try to remove the stain as much as possible or your out of luck

You look at the number of the item listed and then the number sold in 3 months on the app - if lots have sold then its popular.

Have no idea where he got that stat from (0.3), suspect its made up an it just means not many - people buy stuff for $30 that I buy for a dollar becasue its what they want, they dont go to op shops (thrifts), they havent found the item, they live remotely.......they love to shop online.........we are selling to all ebay users worldwide - thats a lot of people.
