I lost a ton from fasting but gained a lot of it back. Feeling depressed and anxious puts weight like crazy.

I cut my calories big time and got the opposite effect and gained a lot of weight. Still trying to lose that 🥲 I'm an athlete and I've always say between 185-190. After a kinda upsetting doctors visit I just did the boxer diet eating very little and exercising a lot but I went over 200 pounds now instead

So I'm like 5'4 1/2 but I don't think it matters too much. I hate running and I've got hella problems with my weight and eating habits. Been chubby since puberty and a I've been feeling with low key eating disorders and I'm just trying to figure out how to be healthy. I've grown alot in the last few years and I'm just ready to feel at home and comfortable with my body again. Thanks for doing what you do so I can get there!! I just know in a few years I'm gonna look back on myself now and be so grateful

Today is day one for me to make a lasting change. Everytime I try to loose fat, I get bigger and bigger with each break. I'm 5'3 126 lbs with no real muscle mass. I don't care what the scale says, but the mirror is making me discourage myself. I'm looking forward to learning and changing my habits.

Keep going. What helped me was removing my assumption that I should eat because it is time to eat. Sometimes we need less food than normal because we are doing less physically. That should be fine and accepted. As long as my weight is being maintained I do not need to eat more or less. I just need to eat that amount that maintains my weight (and muscle mass, cholesterol levels, and what not).

You have so much to be proud of, Michelle. You can do this - perfection kills, just focusing on showing up every day. for yourself in some way xo

@@AprilVWhitney I'm 35 mins in rewatching your webinar. It's very encouraging. I use to be so lean and strong lifting weights. After being pregnant back to back it's hard to find a gym with a daycare. Is it possible to effectively build muscle without weights with body workouts? If it's better overall to lift weights, I can start to buy equipment.

I see now that my reason is number 2. My boyfriend also told me that I was on too low deficit for too long. I was eating 1400 kcal for like 1,5 half year.. this week I started to not counting calories but focus on eating healthy food. Thanks for this video April!

I am 5,2 and have lost weight 3 times in the past and put it back on each time plus more. I am now the heaviest I have ever bean. I have just discovered your channel and somehow I was already subscribed but don't ever remember. Am definitely going to take a look at your website.

People love quick fixes. I was one of them in my teenage years but I cannot believe fully grown adults still do it.

I am so glad I found your channel!! I’ve been struggling with my weight for about 7-8 years now stuck in that stupid cardio cycle…I’ve tried all sorts of diets and seen no results. Thank you so much for solidifying that endless cardio is not necessary. I’m going to get back into strength training again! I can’t wait to join your program once my f45 membership runs out in a couple months 💕💕💕💕

i’m not petite and i never have been. i’m 5’10 but i think your suggestions are useful to everyone. people make the mistake of only watching things that apply to them & they get stuck in a biased bubble. i’m glad i came upon you! thanks!

During my weight loss, all did was eat less. I did not exercise or lift any weight. I did not increase my walk time. When I got to the weight (including muscle mass and other health factors), I simply recorded what types of food and how much was maintaining it. Then I simply maintained my new eating habits.

Your videos have helped me so much to learn about how to ACTUALLY be healthy, so thank you.❤️ I do strength training at least 3 times a week but I don’t know how often I should run. Should I cut it out completely and replace it with going on walks throughout the day? Or should I continue with it, just not as often?

Can you do a video on how to build muscle without going to the gym and if you don't have any weights etc..

Quick fixes is like copium. It is equivalent to being addicted to a substance or harmful activity. It feels good but it cannot be maintained. Then on to the next quick fix that will never last they go. 🤦♀

Is cycling considered just cardio or does it count for building muscle as well due to the resistance?
