My father passed away last December and I'm the only male with 3 older sisters so I'm right at the end of my mourning prayers period (this year was a leap year for us and being as that we follow the lunar calendar, our leap years mean an extra month not just a day.) That being said, I may not yet be at the dating practice work stage yet but I have been learning and I'm trying to make improvements in how I present myself and behave as often as I can. Coach, thank you for bringing up this topic, it's SO common with men in the dating world. The vast majority monologue, love the sound of their own voice and/or use the women in their lives as free therapists/sounding boards and then wonder why the women they date feel no connection or attraction. It's simple, guys. Learn to listen and connect and intimacy will follow.

For all that’s said about men needing to lead and how men failing to lead as a big cause of failures of dating and relationships, I rarely hear these coaches talk about the women who make that impossible. The only women I’ve ever known either openly want to be in charge, want the man to make decisions but only if he decides the way she wants, or resist even if his decision is what she wants or is in her best interest because she subconsciously feels that she’s losing control. I’m on my third marriage and with each one, no matter how good you are at making a decision, there’s no way they’d let a man lead because that would mean they’re following and their ego couldn’t take it.

That is why you vet women. duh! You dont rush the serious thing, you wait for her to bring it up and in the mean time have fun and hang out with other people. Enjoy being single. Be free. They will hunt you. By the hordes. Go out talk to everyone, ask them questions. Let them talk more than you. Be patient. Be present. You do it right you get to a point wheree they chase you. My guy, it sounds like the common denominator in all these failures are you. Take a step back, see what they all had in common and then figure out what in you makes you attract these women. Could be mommy issues, could be an abusive relationship imprint of the past.
