Why Abby Should Have Chosen Riley | Love Love

I love that even this channel is an Abby/Riley supporter. While Harper's situation is sympathetic, she repeatedly threw her own girlfriend under the bus to save her own skin, yet got rewarded in the end. Even Aubrey Plaza stated that Riley and Abby should have been the ending couple.

No, don’t agreed. Far as I’m concerned, I really saw nothing between them. Ending up as a couple at the end of the movie, Riley is some stranger was just being nice and friendly to Abby. Perhaps, being understanding sympathetic person to talk to. Okay sure, Harper threw Riley under the bus when she was young. But I don’t think, that’s a good enough reason. Why Abby should be with Riley as they just strangers, there only knew each other for about a few days. To consider them as a couple in the movie or at the end of the movie, as saw nothing that Abby wanted Riley in the film.

People who don't have pathological narcissists like the Dad in their lives have no idea the kind of insane mindf **k one goes through. Harper lived in that environment her whole life and was still well adjusted and happy with Abby....away from the family. Most people in such families cannot do it, ever. Think of Harper's Dad as Donald Trump and repeat what you just said. This Abby/Riley ship is nonsense. They had, what like one "date" and some chemistry? Y'all are just weird.

I'd root for Harper if I can see moments of genuine compatibility between her and Abby. Harper just seems to be carefree around Abby, but I wanted to see moments of WHY they are together.

Riley might have been the easier choice because she is loving, secure and all that. But we don’t chose who we love, and Abby was in love with Harper.

Why in the hell, would Abby have chosen a complete stranger that. She only known like a few days over her girlfriend that, she has been with a lot longer. Then a person she just met a few days ago.

I don’t think Abby should choose or be with Riley, as she may be a nice and understanding person her. I don’t see that as a good a enough reason, to choose her over her girlfriend. As far as I’m concerned she just a stranger, and she hardly knows anything her to even. Consider Abby to be with Riley, she knows her about 2 to 4 days. It hardly a good argument for Abby to even jump ship, just because of Harper and show what she really is.

I don’t think that Harper was the problem, I think Abby is the problem as I think. She kinda weak of a person in my opinion, because she keep on accepted and agreed to everything. I don’t think Harper was even try that hard, convincing Abby to do anything or everything. I mean, Harper didn’t have or need to manipulated Abby. (It not she a abuser of a person or anything.) But Abby just quickly accepted it without, a second thought for she made a decision. Like when she finally decided to leave, after the crap she gone through and everything. She quickly to accept to stay, after Harper ask her too without. Any real effort to convince her. Abby only decided to leave for good, after she finally see the real Harper. And she again accepted Harper apology and forgave her, without Harper even have try hard to convince Abby. She also forgiven the twin kids for what, they to her and accepted their apology. Honestly, I couldn’t feels that sorry for Abby, if she was that easy to convince. By not a good person that didn’t, need to try that hard to convince her. I don’t think Harper a manipulator, because she never force Abby into anything. Abby just easily accept and agreed to it. Sure Harper maybe a terrible person, but she isn’t that of bad person. She just made a bad decision in her life, even though she it doesn’t excuse. What she had done to Riley in the past, but she isn’t perfect and she isn’t evil neither.

⁠ I don’t think Harper was that bad as I don’t think, that Abby relationship Harper is that bad. Like, yes. Harper predictable at times, but it not about who is better choice for Abby. Like yeah, she a bit terrible to Abby. But don’t see why Riley is any better for Abby, as far as I’m concerned she may be nice. And someone to talks to, but that all the side we see of her. And just because she seem to be nice to Abby doesn’t mean, that she is nice all the way if Abby ended up with Riley. It like the looks can be deceiving, how we know she could be playing her. just getting her sympathy and plus, I still don’t get why would anyone. Would wants Abby to be with a complete stranger that, she met like 2 to 3 days ago and hardly know each other that well. Consider them to be a couple in the story.

The truth is.... Abbey's being upset and trying to leave Harper is sth that is coming directly from privilege and selfishness. Abbey's parents were totally supportive to her, she has no idea how it feels like being under parents who doesn't accept you and it can be really dangerous if they find out about who you really are. She's such a boring character that doesn't even give a sh** about her girlfriend's situation and just left her out of ego while she was playing victim and blame everything on Harper...Harper is the one who deserved better...
