”Move's audio input is for line-level signal from an audio device or smart-phone via analog cable, not for microphone or Hi-Z instrument input. To connect a microphone or guitar pickup to Move, using an external pre-amp with line-level output is recommended.” -from Ableton faq

I never had a push but I got the move with my MPC running into it, and it’s running out of my SP404. In a week, it’s become my go-to for beats. Love it…so fun. Workflow is fun for me, and it sounds great. Advice take your time and upload all ton of samples into it. And watch in depth tutorials and learn the thing inside out

I will have to try it out. Thanks.

Thanks for this! I've been waiting for more overviews of Move as a controller for Live and this is the best one so far. Does it really not have the ability to load sounds or plug-ins onto tracks using the hardware? Hoping for more videos like this!

Hey, thanks, glad you enjoyed the video! Yeah, I don’t think Live’s browser works on Move.

Great video. Any MOVE packs coming??
@LowHeatBeats12 сағат бұрын
Thank you! Yeah, I plan to make one but it will take some time. But I appreciate that you ask, definitely motivates me to get it done sooner.

@LowHeatBeats thank you brother. The move is a dope machine. If it had some nicer instruments like keys, pads ,guitars, this ting would be absolute 🔥

Thanks bro. You did a good job demonstrating how to actually use Move as a Live controller. Seems like it becomes cumbersome after reaching more than 5 tracks or so? Push 2 or 3 are still big and heavy to be portable but Launchpad Pro is about as portable as Move. Would you make a content on how you deal with 3rd party VSTs on Push 2 or 3? How is your workflow using Native Instruments sounds on the Push 2 / 3 for example.
@LowHeatBeats2 сағат бұрын
Hey, I appreciate you watching! I really don't deal with 3rd party plugins with Push at all. I just use it for some basic functions for recording parts into Live. All work with 3rd party plugins is done with the mouse and the Kontrol MK3 keyboard when it comes to NI sounds. So there really isn't enough material for a whole video on the topic 😁

So far I have found the Move less suited and intuitive to controlling Live, and I'm using it as a sketching device only
@LowHeatBeats2 сағат бұрын
Fair enough, I guess that would depend how deep control you need over Live.

@@LowHeatBeats I already own a Push 2 and on the move I prefer to go standalone with either my MPC Live 2 or the Move.

If you pretend to convince me to sell my push2 to buy this you just dont know

That controller is terrible. What a waste.
@shinyisshiny77807 сағат бұрын
its not intended as a controller. its intended use is a stand alone groove box / quick idea cooker on the go. You can quickly cook up ideas, sample using the built in mic or line input, automate, sequence, arrange, even mix to a degree, and then dump that session directly to ableton desktop, where everything loads up exactly as you had it on Move. It just so happens that move can ALSO work as a controller, albeit somewhat limited. You can still get some great use out of it, but its definitely no push
