@JAR7D Thanks for these tutorial videos man. I was in a bad accident on my CBR back before you were born...got Tboned by a Mustang and spent 3 days in a coma. Almost died. My kids are grown now at 22yo and 16yo and I am gonna get a new bike in the next year or so...probably an XSR900 or maybe an MTO9 SP. They are great wheelie bikes with 117hp and big torque from the CP3 engine they share. I am gonna use your videos to get me comfortable riding wheelies again. Thanks for doing this. Please keep making how-to videos like this...ABS didnt exist on bikes back then so I would never have known i needed to turn it off to use the rear brake when up if you had not told me. If you get your hands on 1, please make a video with an MT09 or XRS9...they have amazing midrange and torque. Be safe bro! Thanks

I have quite a few videos with fz09/mt09/ and xsr900 actually! They’re just a bit farther back. Those bikes are actually pretty difficult to wheelie, the torque makes them very twitchy. In B mode it’s manageable, but the MT07 is significantly easier

How I Scraped the Yamaha Fz/Mt09 kzbin.info/www/bejne/m3_Vgmt4pcqmibs Here’s a video on the fz09! I don’t have go pro videos on the xsr900 but I have a short with it. I really like the XSR seat. It locks you in very good for wheelies

I will definitely disable abs when my wheelies get higher. Thanks for pointing it out. Kawasaki did service today so I mentioned the very interesting how the bike and wheel will be locked to eachother when braking in a wheelie even though the rubber isn’t sliding. One of the mechanics replied that abs turns off as soon as it detects front wheel not rotating normally due to being in the air.

Interesting. Maybe that depends on the bike. The BMW definitely didn’t turn off ABS lol but maybe Kawasaki does

@@jar7d There is a lot to this so I appreciate your vlog. I recently read about someone that had to "wheelie until the front wheel stopped rotating and then he claimed ABS was off until he stopped the bike" I don't know why he didn't use the front brake? I am just a beginner. I asked the Kawi guys to put on my 60T sprocket yesterday. Tried it out today. Very powerful. The bike "flies up" on little rpm, but difficult to control for a beginner. Must be extremely careful.

It’s kinda strange, cc’s on a sport bike kind of cover the amount of hp it takes for a car to beat you. It’s a strangely good comparison. Takes about a thousand horsepower for most cars to keep up with a liter bike, it takes about 600 for most cars to keep up with 600’s

I have a Ducati 959 i could only clutch up in 1st gear on race mode 2nd barely pops up or Boggs up and flashes yellow light 3rd just hates it now it won’t even let me in 1st it Boggs most of the time sum time pops up

Im pretty decent at wheelies and someone at a car meet let me wheelie there grom last night and i was like word ez pz and i didmt lnow it had abs and i hit the brake it did nothing and i looped his bike😭 i didnt have any of my gear on not even my helmet bc i was just gonna do one😂
