I wish someone with a skin condition to do facial videos - as someone with rosacea you cannot simply go in for a facial. You need to check the products being used as some ingredients like salycic acid severely dry and irritate the skin. On normal skin this gives a glowy effect but on people with rosacea this can lead to flare ups due to the sensitivity of the skin. Hope they consider this in future skin care videos...

That part ☝🏽 Is this methodology of product-product neutralization even safe? The heat product of that exothermic reaction looked super painful. I can see neutralizing the skin after the peel has been wiped off, but geeze! I'm a cosmetic chemistry grad student and I wouldn't feel comfortable formulating a peel process in this way. I was going to say the same thing!! I worked for a dermatologist in Los Angeles for 6 years. She would have never done so many things on a person's face all in a row like that. I'd love to know how many people have gotten chemical burns from this idiocy. You want to age your skin ten years in a day? This. This is how you do it. It may make it look nice for a few days but after a couple years of these you're gonna look like a leather lampshade. Always, always, always rinse off acid or base strong enough to cause a reaction with water; don't try to neutralize it. That's how you get burning and scarring.

As someone who perform chemical peel, I wouldn’t use a brush, there a chance of of the solution to drip onto the eye. The sensitive area of the skin should be coated in a protective base. I also have client start a pre treatment plan to ensure peel penetration.

Surely you have to use a brush? The acids would burn your fingers to the bone. Plastic gloves wouldn't work either. But I agree about protecting sensitive areas and pre-treatment plan.

I wish these things were marketed more as a “relaxing treatment” than a “face clearing treatment” like this looks like it would make you _feel_ refreshed after you finish with it but I doubt it’d do much good for clearing your skin.

She did a peel on her but did not put SPF on afterwards. Or they just cut that part out. This facial is not worth $250. There are many things off about this facial and what steps she uses.

The fact that she didn’t use aquaphor or Vaseline around the corners of her nose, eyes and lips made me cringe 😖 I’m a medical aesthetician and you’re literally putting acid on your face and petroleum jelly around those areas help peels getting into your eyes. Especially she was moving a lot during the Peel I was worried she would have it on her eyes 😖😖

Chemical exfoliators can sting and are great to treat hyperpigmentation, ice pick scars, superficial wrinkles, etc....ask any dermatologist....but the fact that the face was picked on and steamed after made me think it's not worth it... steaming after an acid peel is a no.

She really needs to hand her clients a small hand held fan while applying the exfoliating acids, to help alleviate the burning & stinging discomfort!... The cool air on the skin is greatly appreciated and the experience will be far more pleasant!....

Btw guys!! For someone who doesnt have good skin don’t expect a drastic change it takes a while and I highly don’t recommend any facial before any important events! You can purge and thats not fun! And yesss if u get any peel it burns so bad and extractions are more painful than getting tattoos in my opinion. I always try to get a peel a week or 2 before any event.

love watching your channel ;) great job, since you have many experiences you should try some facials in Korea and in Thailand, then you would see how modern and advances the technique, the tools, and the ingrediences are that they use there. most facisla you have taken are usind devices I have seen and used in 2013. Your skin is good but you have to work on your smalls scars and with korean and thai facial and laser treadments you can minimoce them and improve your skin way more than with most of the facials you have tired in most of your videos. good luck with your channel and I hope you have the chance to viste a beauty-salon in Seoul Korea to get your experinces, then I am sure you will understand me.
