I'm an engineer. Due to science background, I knew it. Alcohol is a term used with any substance ending with - OH group in the formula but alcohol in sanitizer and perfumes are just by name alcohol. Why not drink alcohol and do salah🤷‍♂️.. just because a mufti says it don't mean u do it yano. U can get perfumes with no alcohol. Use them. I rather have maximum chances of my salah to be accepted than to wear perfumes with alcohol in them while I'm praying to my Rabb🤐.. mufti and sheikhs are their own. Quran and sunnah we follow not them.

The only confusion here Brother is by Muslims who take the word of the Quran and extrapolate it to ludicrous extremes. Let me make it simple and accurate: If you consume alcohol to get drunk then it is Haram. That is it! cut and dried! If for example you use alcohol for other purposes, hand sanitiser, extracting useful plant products, dyes, medicines, perfumes etc and the many other uses this chemical has then these are all Halal whether the alcohol is fermented or made in a laboratory. If you need to consume medicine that is dissolved in alcohol then this is also Halal. If you say that the consumption of alcohol is forbidden under any circumstances or even that anything which has been tainted with fermented alcohol is Haram then you must immediately stop eating bread, for bread is a fermented product and bread must be considered Haram. Now you may see how crazy this is and how ridiculous it becomes when we are guided by the righteous pretending to be wise.

Alcohol is any compound that has "-OH" functional group. However the intoxicating chemical in alcohol beverages is "ethanol" which is just one type of many alcohols (which aren't used for getting 'drunk')

What about some medicines that contain some alcohol. The intention (or the quantity prescribed) is not to get someone drunk.. rather it is to help ease suffering. Infact some meds have to have alcohol so as to carry the chemical properties of the solute. What's your position?

Yes, because according to mufti, synthetic alcohol which is produced in the lab is pure, unlike wine and beer, hence prayer and wudu will be valid.

Vinegar is not alcoholic. But when it time to make vinegar there is a process named fermentation and after that there comes many processes and then the alcoholic agent not stay there. So it is not alcoholic
