I personally don't even follow you *just* because you're absolutely hilarious (and you don't have to be all of the time), but because of how raw and honest you are with yourself and your fanbase. You talk about tough topics that spark such amazing conversations, thoughts, and change in ourselves and others. Thank you for all your videos and talk with us; I can assure you we love them! I always look forward to a new video from you and instantly click on it. Love from NY Laura& family!!! ❤❤

One of the reasons I started following you years ago was because of your attitude on life. I loved the positivity and gratefulness. In recent years, it's felt more fake with all the filters and botox and I stopped following. Happy to see this one, I hope you find peace in yourself and accept aging as a blessing.

I feel you there, if I ever bring up the insecurity with other woman a lot of them say they dont experience all the insecurities that life brings right now. Its genuinely frustrating because I cant relate with anyone.. so thank you for being honest 😭🥹 makes me feel a bit more sane. Idk how other woman dont care. It makes me very fearful for my kids future and if im being honest my marriage ( im 30) with temptations out there like crazy

I’m repeating other comments, and I loved your comedy skits with your ex, but I always click because I’m a recovering alcoholic and I love your rawness about what’s happening in your life. I would love to be in your home group through AA, and I could hear your shares, and you could hear mine, and we support each other as women. I’ve read Idiot, and I read it when I was getting more serious about my sobriety and your humor and authenticity REALLY helped me when things were kinda dark. Been in the program for almost 8 years, and just got my 2 year chip in May. I adore you. Thank you for being you! If you ever come to Flagstaff, there’s some awesome women’s meetings you might enjoy! Bless you, Laura! 💕✨🙏🤙🥹

I've been scared of aging since I was 25 and now just turned 35. I still struggle but I try to remember how much I've been torturing myself for no reason since I was 25 over aging and now I look back and see how stupid I was and the same will happen when I turn 45. I don't want to make the same mistake again. So the only thing I can do is try to maintain the proper perspective.

I'm a 34 year old woman and couldn't care less about aging. I've opted out of that playing field. It's too expensive 😅 part of it is being content on your own though and not needing to please others anymore. I also have the privilege of living a private life. I don't mind if men don't want me lol. It's a huge relief to not care anymore. I do understand though that there is an exchange when it comes to beauty, even though it's superficial. But I've let go ❤

Your mom is such a great role model for aging beautifully. And it is rather backwards to inject venom into your face BUT only eat vegan foods. That’s going into your body as well ….and you’re correct. I follow you because you are a smart, talented, gifted, loving human being. ☮️

I am 38 and aging has been heavy on my mind too. A lot of my friends get it but I try to like a non-toxic lifestyle so injecting a toxin in my face doesn’t fit that lifestyle. However, it’s still been tempted! And I hate these influences and companies who promote health and wellness but all their models and acquaintances have clearly had interventions to look the way they do, meanwhile they’re shaming people for eating potato chips. It’s all f’d and hypocritical. Thanks for your honestly around the issue!

I'm the youngest of 3 girls. I have 2 kids. My son is oldest. Then my daughter. My Dad had Dementia before passing 2/2/22. As I've aged, i see that many people I've known thru the years haven't been afforded that privilege. I've also realized that people's opinions don't matter- that came in my late 40s. I learned i could do everything on my own (divorced). Now at 57, my motto is "I don't give a shit ". Its a fabulous freedom from that scared, shy, people pleasing 24 year old. Keep on keeping on! ❤

Relationship with my mom in three words: loving, healing, sacred. 5 things I'm grateful for: 1: my two cats 2: my mama 3: books 4: coffee 5: my strength As someone who thought I would never live past 38, and tried a few times to make sure that didn't happen, I am no longer afraid to grow older (I'm 44 now). I've decided to live in radical honesty, to a point. Like I wouldn't hurt someone's feelings just because but with my family, my sons. My youngest is 14, has Autism/Adhd. He's a great kid but very nieve. So we talked about how he feels uncomftable because his legs are hairy now. I explained, you know what pretty much most people have hairy legs. Women would have hairy legs if they weren't conditioned from a early age to shave. So comfort is very different than shame. I wanted to make sure he knew that. That's just one example and you know what giving our kids a realistic view of A) what being a woman really is, ageing, social norms and what feels norm for you B) Teaching they don't have to do what society/friends tell you, do what's safe and good for you. You know what it is so freeing ! I still shame myself due to my Adhd but I feel I'm getting more in balance. So Laura, do you babes! ❤ because your emotional/sensory/nervous system & physical health comes before LA type casting and you are the best. Happy birthday momma !!

Even if you are super self conscious about all things egotistical, you just don’t care, because you finally learned to regard your own thoughts on any given thing the opinion that matters most. It’s effin awesome! BTW, Laura, your are a beautiful woman! 17, 27, 37. You are stunning and you will be at 47, 57, 67 & 77. By then you won’t care anyway, you just love yourself for who you ARE!

Not for looks, for comfort. It's time to comfort and love myself, and bras just don't do it. Decided against it, and the $13,000 exchange it would require, what?! Honestly, I didn't even know I had wrinkles, till my girlfriends group started buying these crazy creams with retinol, baccuciol, talking about fillers. Then one day I looked myself in the mirror and I realized I had those deep wrinkles on my face. And then I started comparing myself with other women. I started comparing myself with you. How come Laura looks so pretty, when she is even older than me, why did I aged so badly? Have I missed to drink enough water, my mother has good genes, it should be my mistake. Then I bought creams, started taking care of my face, started hating my face, which reflected on my self esteem. And then just one day I said to myself: "You have two options: botox or loving yourself". I decided to love my self, to embrace myself. And how happy am I now with that. I can see the fact that I have huge pretty green eyes, thick hair, long lashes, and somewhere among all of that I have wrinkles too. 3 words: She's my mountain

Or do i try and compete and get married and have a kid and most likely divorce because my husband hides a porn addiction from me. It doesnt matter where you live either. All men have porn addictions now unless they actively work on it. Smh i dont want to have a kid with a man who watches porn. Sad world we live in.. Wow... I suspect a lot of your worry about getting older definitely stems from where you live. That's incredibly stressful! 🙈 I'm 52 and of course sometimes I'm annoyed that I'm no longer 30, slim, sporty and super sexy. Or that I also have more physical problems, like back pain or something similar. But that's not all that defines me. I also see many advantages in getting older. I'm more relaxed. I no longer identify myself by my appearance, but by who I am, what I can do, what I know. But above all, in my culture it is not common to manipulate one's appearance so blatantly in order to look young. That means everyone else is getting older too. And it's okay! Here it is more the case that the plastic appearance of some American women is totally frightening and more repulsive than they find it pleasant. And that makes it much easier for us women to come to terms with life after menopause. By the way, I personally don't follow you because you're such a clown, but because you're so phenomenally open, reflective and self-critical. You are so real, honest and sincere in all the fake news madness out there. And that's why I really cling to you and accompany you in your life from far away. 😉 And last but not least: My personal opinion is that women also become more mature and beautiful with age. The smile lines bring a much more special beauty and depth to the face that I simply miss in the smooth skin of twenty-year-olds. I hope you get to the point where you can accept yourself as you are and still feel comfortable in your own skin! 🙏😘

I hope you see this Laura, I'm so curious for personal reasons, how long ago did he get diagnosed? Did they say when they think it started? I have concerns about the STM from diabetes

Laura. I have ADHD. I did a gene test on genesight and found out that I have the mthrfkr gene 😂 no really it's called MTFR gene which puts me in a high adrenaline mode. It's a mouth swab and super easy this may be part of the ADHD. Just wanted to share because I also found out this gene doesn't let me digest enzymes in my liver and something such as Zoloft made me manic or worsened depression and was making me very ill. I know you like all natural but the genesight gave me a printout of every medication I can and cannot take including ADHD meds. ❤ Luv ya when your in chi town hit me up if love to meet you. I was in your sister colleens class

The aging thing has to be hard because Stephen was dating those younger beautiful women. Everyone knows that’s why you got jealous and got back together too. He worked your insecurities like a pro.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but Botox isn't snake venom 😂❤ love to your family. Dementia and aging can be so trying and hard at times.

I like your content because you are real and funny, not because, if you lose that well that would be a shame, please dont keep getting botox etc.

Sugar is a drug, adrenaline is a drug. Just adapt your crazy into a safe routine. And exercise grace and gratitude for the moments. Me adapting this mindset is a work in progress. Relationship with my mom in 3 words: A..F...U I am working that into a safe routine too.😎

I'm relieved to know you use botox because I keep looking at your skin wondering how do you have no wrinkles. I understand being in the public eye how the pressure gets to you. I'm 46 and have some lines and honestly its hard to accept because I see women online with no wrinkles all the time so I struggle. Thankfully I don't have the money for botox😂
