I hope to see both Kukonki and Heaven. Haven't got an opinion on who is better, because I haven't watched them play. Only KZbin clips that don't tell the whole story. Hopefully They both get chances. Heaven might get them first though because he is older and must have had guarantees in his contract in orfer for him to sign.

If he stays fit he is the obvious option. So Luke Shaw most likely will be first choice LCB if he stays fit. This means that the United youngsters have no chance of being a starting player until about l 4-5 games down the line.😂

Kukonki has more potential. Heaven is more ready. Heaven is better on the ball. Kukonki is better defensively and physically. Thags the main difference. Kukonki when developed will be better for lcb, heaven is more suited to play cdm role imo. Rn heaven is more ready that Kukonki. Ive seen Kukonki make a few mistakes in academy football. Sekou Kone is ready but he had a long term injury which stagnated him and in his last few matches you can still see excellent cover of ground, tackling, dribbling but he needs to improve his passing and fitness before amorim gives him game time. Honestly with chido he does everything right, hes the only one currently whos ready however i wouldnt think amorim will play him unless its like a 3 min cameo because of physique. Obi is just 17, and to plah striker in the prem would be tough. Hes done well so far against physical CBs but hes only just stepped up to u21s. So i think next season is his time

Alvaro had been on loan and was sold for 6mil when we had no left back that was fit. I wouldn’t compare that with not playing a 16 year old who’s never played any senior football. While he clearly has potential he doesn’t seem as ready for the first team as Chido obi, sekou kone or even ibragimov. Also he’s 6’3. I think it’s likely that Chido obi could get his debut on Friday against leicester as he wasn’t even on the bench today in the u18 game.

He's never played with the under 23s. He's never trained with the senior squad. He might be good enough. But will have to be tested to see how he handles playing against senior players - in training. Amorim won't even consider him unless Kukonki can hold his own as a 16 year old playing against full grown men. There's a few steps to pass before you going throwing him into our next game. Likewise with the other two. It's a long punt. I think it will be looked into, certainly, but people need to temper their expectations.

It's no though there have been so many examples of young players becoming injury prone because they've been thrusted into regular first team football too soon. Should he be given a few minutes here and there, sure but to ask him to be the cover for Martinez especially when he's not a fully grown adult like Heaven or Yoro feels irresponsible. Amorim clearly rates him he's been training with the first team and been on the bench a few times this season. MUFC cannot deal with another injury prone player on the books.

He’s not 3 inches taller than Heaven. Go and watch the presentation of Dorgu and Heaven and you’ll see Heaven is at least 2 inches taller than Dorgu so that makes him 6’3 / 6’4. I was very surprised myself

The heaven transfer has nothing to do with Kukonki. Signing young players isn’t the same as first team players. They are doing it for PSR reasons and the opportunity of pure profit in the future
