@@Lee-Asnody Anby was a soldier with some sort of special operations unit, which is implied to have committed atrocities based off dialogue from Soldier 11 (including the murder of civilians and prisoners of war) before Anby went rogue and found Nicole and joined the Cunning Hares. In fact, when the Hares decide to help the civilians that Vision was going to murder, Anby explicitly states she's helping because: "She's not going to let it happen again." Implying she was either directly involved with an atrocity that occurred or that she failed to stop an atrocity from occurring and that it involved innocent civilians. Billy was some sort of combat android. Nicole (and Nekomata to a certain extent) is the odd one out with her relatively "normal" childhood. Both Billy and Anby are the powerhouses of the Cunning Hares and, theoretically, should be two of the more powerful characters. And they're probably going to get S units in future updates.

It's heavily hinted that Billy is the one person Lighter has never beaten. In-game feats also hint that he could be the strongest character in the cast behind Miyabi. She's still stronger by a wide margin, but the point still stands. Billy is the only other member of the roster aside from Miyabi who moves so fast he disappears from view. Jane is fast, and while she leaves afterimages, she's not as fast as Miyabi or Billy who just straight up appear invisible at times.

at this part the cunning hares suddenly become professionals. It shows that although they r only a scammer group, they r still on par with any other factions in terms of power. There has always been a stark difference between illegal operators and gov officals groups in this game, but this cutscene alone just bring them to equal talking term. At first i have no idea why nicole dares to bring HSO6 in but I started to get why she did so. Dont forget billy is ltierally a killing machine while anby is likely a defect from soldier11 group. It also shows how much the cunning hares trust each other, as much as how HSO6 trust their members.

The Cunning Hares aren't a scammer group. They are a legit group and team that takes odd jobs and are quite respected in the Interknot space. We've only really seen them be goofy and interact with each other and friends but when it comes to locking in, you have a career thief and high ranked former Hollow Raider gang member, an ex-military elite operative (that possibly trained or mentored Soldier 11), and a literal killing machine that used to be THE feared Red Scarf.

Throughout the story she's hinted at her military background, divulging New Eridu Defense Force, Public Safety, and HSO6's tactics. Billy was not only Lighter's predecessor as their champion fighter, but he was literally designed to be a military combat android. Him and Asaba, both seasoned combat veterans, are already noticing peoples hands to gauge their intentions.

Nah it was always connected. chapter 1 was the prolouge and the start of the vision scandal chapter 2 had us helping Koleda which started as a side story unti we found the sacrafice and the memory chip chapter 3 we were looking for Rain to decrypt the memory and then we heard the death of Koleda's father on it Jane's special episode was a side story that didn't involve the proxy and just introduced Jane and Seth Chapter 4 sons of calydon found Perlman and we helped them in exchange for them keeping an eye on him until he recovered (along with finding out the proxies' end goal) Yanagi's special episode showed Bringer and Sarah copying Miyabi's data by using null-face which is what allowed Sarah to open the sword in chapter 5 (in case you didn't know Miyabi's sword needs her fingerprint in order to be used) And then chapter 5 was the climax of all those events (we still don't know who the "creator" they mention is though and there are still a lot of mystery) Unfortunately a lot of people kept skipping all the dialogue when the game was first released and then screamed that there wasn't a story, just because the game doesn't shove it in their face in the first 10 minutes

I think The Cunning Hares are more capable than we give them credit for. We've still not seen what Anby could really do. Billy's abilities as a capable combatant are vouched for by the Sons of Calydon. And Nicole was able to scam Miyabi of her sword, effectively undermining Miyabi's power level. It just demonstrates how serious the Cunning Hares could truly be, they are usually demonstrated as being silly at at times somewhat incompetent when it comes to making money or other similar endeavors, but this scene demonstrates. Even though they are severely outmatched, they weren't going to make it easy for HSOS6 to apprehend them or otherwise go down without a fight. Anby has a lot more going on than she appears and we all know Billy is holding back the true extent of his capabilities if we go by anything Lighter has stated in regards to him in Chapter 4.

I didn't dive too deep into Billy's background (or it's still a mystery), but so far we've found out that he was the Sons of Calydon's former champion before passing the torch to Lighter, and Billy is pretty much designed as a combat android like a Terminator. My wildest guess, he was a military killbot before being discarded or retired and then joining SoC, since we don't know exactly how old Billy is either.

Billy is still the undefeated champion for the sons of calydon, in fact Lighter lost to him a few times, but since he quit the gang, the title went to Lighter, meaning for however old is Caesar, Billy has never lost a single fight, and yes he was indeed a killbot from old eridu, he’s built with super high tech so he was def involved in the military

If S6 really wanted to they could easily take out the Hares. Billy or Anby isn't one shotting the same Etheral Miyabi did and she wasn't even struggling.
