I have politicians in my area who openly threat in their speeches like " once we come to power, you can't imagine the number of transfers you cops have to bear, you guys won't be able to look after your families properly", and all these statements were made in mic in an open ground, besides there were two constables of police maintaining the crowd of that hateful seminar. This kind of incidents are very disheartening.

I was cheated by some one. Job related consultancy fraud. I went police station and one of the person in police uniform I approached him and tell the issue he listen and than started abusing me very badly after he finished another police man came and informed me,he is senior and told to go court. I forgive the person who cheated me but not police officer.

sad to hear,but we need multidimensional reforms in our system whether its politics or administration ...because when u are cheated U have to file a F.I.R and than u can take that as a proof to court if you wanna extend your intentions to get justice ...

Honesty and strength of character of police officers are important to reduce the effect of political interferences. Most police officers, used unethically by the politicians, are basically dishonest and corrupt themselves. However, providing independence to the government employees will improve governance and they should work within a well defined frame of law.

Its a both pull and push problem. Sir, if an IPS get a gap for 4-5 years to work in private sector. There is chance to manipulate the policing duties after rejoining the police since he would be liable for his private employers and there is also chance to use police resources by them.

Sir in last 10 minutes you said about to decrease the interference of politician in law and order is that possible in a country like india where people who elect their representative by give vote not on the bases of quality to serve the well-being of society but they vote by seeing the caste or religion of that person who even don't know the meaning of law after he came in power do what he wants to full fill his self interest The main problem of our country is that people are not aware for whom they vote , less educated ,and even they are not aware of their right . India achieve 70 year of Independence but these problem are never solved political interfere increase tremendously so if we need to get rid of these issues then so certain steps should be taken firstof Al empower the citizens , starting awareness program , educate them and many more .....
