Why Angeles City Philippines? My Reasons for Choosing This City

I am also from the U.S. I agree 100 percent with your comments about the Pinoy welcoming us. Personally, I get no more satisfaction than meeting a foreigner that is visiting the U.S. A few months back spent a good amount of time helping a young guy from Czech Republic while riding the public transport from the airport find his way to his meeting spot. As for the Philippines, have not been in Angeles City for almost 40 years, even though I visit the country often. It’s on my list of places to reacquaint myself with. Just curious, do you or anyone else in the comments section have any knowledge on bicycle shops in Angeles, and if there are some good areas to ride? Your style is refreshing, so I decided to subscribe. Enjoy your new home!

I have said repeatedly that anyone who keeps focusing on Walking St. as if it is the be all, end all of Angeles City, does so because that's where they focus their attention. Unfortunately, speaking of AC as if it's nothing more than a 3 square block section of prostitution discourages others from visiting for any reason other than that. Glad to hear you speak some sense! I will be visiting AC for a month and I chose it because I hate large cities (Manila; Cebu) and, while I wouldn't have a problem being in the province, I still want a place that is large enough to provide me with the necessary amenities, and AC fits the bill.

1. Pretty good infrastructure and pretty good Internet/phone signal. 2. Traffic not bad. 3. Air pollution not bad. 4. Lots of international restaurants and shops. 5. Near Manila, Subic and Baguio and with an international airport 6. Lots of services for expats: visas, tours, good hospitals, lawyers, etc. knowledgeable in the area of expat concerns. 7. Tolerant locals who are used to foreigners, but who are non-intrusive. They leave you alone for the most part. 8. The city is compact and easy to travel around. 9. Rents are lower than in Manila. 10. One is never lonely in it.

I live in city called Las Vegas. I have not been to our walking street "The Strip" in 3 years. Good points

There are "great people" all over PI. Men go to AC to have availability of sex no matter what. You really didn't highlight the other great things about AC. It's great that you have an opinion that AC is spectacular. Ok. Have you traveled around PI? And, if yes, then what's special about AC compared to everywhere else?
