I'm pretty sure if you started giving a monkey McDonald's and other processed food, he too would get a heart disease.

In this video, we’ve explained that animals don’t typically experience heart attacks due to genetic reasons. Therefore, feeding animals junk food won’t immediately result in heart attacks. However, it may lead to other health issues. If such a diet is given over an extended period, it could potentially cause genetic mutations, potentially resulting in health issues, including heart problems in the long run.

The seagulls and urban foxes where I live have heart attacks similar to humans, they eat too many takeaway meals that people throw up after being to the pub!

@@TheWorldOfScienceCo The entire origin of the Lipid Hypothesis was flawed from the beginning with the research by Ancel Keyes and his undisclosed financial influence from the sugar companies to demonize fat. It's still a hypothesis 60+ years onward and since you present it as science, the argument is flawed. It was a very entertaining video but cholesterol is very misunderstood, essential for all cellular life, and is not proven to be causative in CHD. There's a valid argument that it's reparative and inflammation and calcification are to blame.

False! Dogs have heart attacks, too!. Dog of my friend died of heart attack recently. He was daschund. It is also untrue that most of heart attacks is caused by atherosclerosis. Majority of heart attacks occurs despite of abasense or low level of narrowing of blood vessels (world statistics)....

Firstly, while animals can experience various heart-related issues, they don’t typically suffer from heart attacks in the way humans do, especially by atherosclerosis. Secondly, atherosclerosis (the buildup of plaque or fatty deposits in the arteries) is a significant risk factor for heart attacks but it’s not the only cause. In fact, some heart attacks occur without significant narrowing of the coronary arteries, a condition known as “non-obstructive coronary artery disease” or “coronary artery spasm.” In this video, however, we have covered Atherosclerosis.
