@@Little-bird-told-me Chinese population is 1.43 Billion people. Chinese population in incarceration is 1.6 million people. Russia's Population is 144 million people. Its jailed population less than 500 000. US population is 340 Million people. US incarcerated population is 1.8 million people. that is not even counting the other millions and millions of Americans being processed in the US justice system awaiting trial, on probation, out on bail, under house arrest, doing community service. The US jailed population is 4x larger by percentage of population than China and almost 3x that of Russia. Nobody in this world incarcerates more of its own population than the United states. As a matter of time, at one time the US had nearly 3 million people behind bars, a larger percentage of its population in jail than even Stalin's Soviet Union during the great purges of the 1930s. Let that sink in. Yet, American propaganda is so amazing that it has Americans thinking that they live in a country with the most personal freedom and liberty in the history of the world and that the Chinese and Russians live in an authoritarian oppressive hell world. The power of American propaganda and marketing is unmatched. Nothing can beat that. It is the one area in which the United States is the undisputed world champion.

He’s just said he’s so welcomed in China actually many Chinese don’t welcome him except his bubble… I see him a “realist” hypocrite, saying what the listener in front of him wants to hear, “real” time. He did this in a recent interview by Aljazeera. He is not “America first,” instead he is extremist - “America Only!” Listening to him is only depressing !!

From NY state, I've been in NE China for 12 years. Ahhhh, I have NO car. I have few bills, and utilities in China are dirt cheap versus NY state. No place is perfect but I can dine in a restaurant every day, should I choose. No tripping is also nice. Taxes are built into the menu price. I miss thick soups, chowders and a good diner breakfast. Chinese people believe that if the world does well, China will do well. Nobody has a gun in China and I was a gun owner in the US. I prefer a no gun society. My modern apartment in this city of 8 million runs me about $250/month. I loved my life in NY state but now, I want an easier like. The USA is ridiculously expensive versus China and I think it's not worth it. I don't care about ideology. I do care about my bank account. I don't even look at prices in China. If I want it I buy it. I pay cash for doctors and dentists.

Look at who they are mentioning about who he is going to pick to be his secretary of Defense: Mike Pompeo. Then look at who he is considering to be his secretary of State: Marco Rubio. Both Neocons on steroids. Do you really think this looks like Trump is looking like not being confrontational and aggressive towards Russia and China? Don't be delusional. Like they say. When somebody tells you who they are, you better believe them. When the American establishment is calling China the biggest threat to the United states and an enemy of the United States, you better believe they are going to attempt a confrontation with China. Chinese leaders are being very naive. They should make a formal alliance with Russia, Iran and North Korea. They should be conducting extensive military interoperability joint Exercises with Russia, Iran and North Korea preparing for the war that is coming. You might not be interested in war, but war is definately interested in you. Its just a matter of time before the United States along with its tributary vassal states start up something in East Asia, either in Taiwan or in the South China Sea. Mark my words. You are going to remember them when it happens

Why don't people like Mr Sachs become politicians, with their balanced, informed and rational perspectives? Maybe they know they would be at risk of becoming tainted by the company they will have to keep. I could listen to people like Mr Sachs and his contemporaries all day long, I listen to politicians and instinctively turn everything they say on its head, come to my own conclusions and assume I might be getting somewhere near the facts of the matter, and for the record I am a socialist, but increasingly, I am become more and more unimpressed by the people I vote for for even they are becoming tainted by, and seduced by the filthy lucre
