The general argument of not judging others is correct but 1° the bible does advocate for soberness 2° warning others about their sins is something every prophet had to do (judging sins without judging the people, because only God knows their destiny) 3° Of course St Peter is directly put in charge of the Church by the Lord (several times)

The Bible does condemn drunkenness but it doesnt condemn drinking in moderation. I think Romans 14 is some great scripture to get into to address issues like this. There are certainly extra things some people should do in order to be more dead to themselves (like the converts Paul was talking about who wouldn’t eat meat. I personally will not drink at least for the foreseeable future because that is too close to the life I was delivered from. You’re definitely right about correcting sins (James 5:20 makes that super clear). Honestly I’m not even necessarily disagreeing with you. Just love talking about scripture lol.

Only really once was Peter put in that mind state because he confessed Jesus as the Christ. An example for us all to do the same. And thing will be done the same for us all. but then Jesus was asked who is the Greatest and He did not mention Peter. Because even Peter ends up sinning. Of course wine isnt prohibited, the first miracle of our Saviour was to turn water into wine at the Wedding at Cana, and of course at the Last Supper turning wine into His own blood. For me the question isnt about wine nor alcohol, but rather about soberness. On this specific notion : 1 Peter 4:7, 1 Peter 5:8, 1 Thes 5:6, 1 Thes 5:8 and Titus 2:2. So yeah drinking itself isnt a sin, but it is important to stay sober and alert Blessings brothers
