The Crime and Criminal Tracking Networks and Systems, abbreviated to CCTNS, is a project under the Indian government for creating a comprehensive and integrated system for effective policing through e-Governance. The system includes a nationwide online tracking system by integrating more than 14,000 police stations across the country. The project is implemented by National Crime Records Bureau.[2] It is under the jurisdiction of Government of India. It comes under the Ministry of Home Affairs. It's headquarter is situated at New Delhi. E-governance was it's motto.

Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) is a project initiated in June 2009 which aims at creating a comprehensive and integrated system for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of policing at the Police Station level. This will be done through adoption of principles of e-Governance, and creation of a nationwide networked infrastructure for evolution of IT-enabled state-of-the-art tracking system around “investigation of crime and detection of criminals”. CCTNS is a Mission Mode Project (MMP) under the National e-Governance Plan of Govt. of India.

CCTNS- under the ministry of home affairs. Provide centralized data base of crime ND criminals to track them.all most 15000 police stations ko connect Kiya gya Hai.

It is true that the crimes against women inter alia with the other crimes are increased in 2021 but at the same time they r reduced as compared with 2019. Thankyou for d session it is helpful to me personally for revision 🙏
