As a Indian girl who has lived in America for 7 years, specifically the Silicon Valley, and has just recently moved back to India, all of this is quite horrifying. Back where I used to live, in my elementary and middle school periods, I can guarantee that no Indian in my school was racially discriminated. In fact, it had felt like Indians were no different than others. I feel like this is because I lived in a place where there was lots of immigrant diversity consisting majorly of people from Asian countries. Honestly, everyone uplifted each other, and friend groups were also quite diverse. However, I feel like I've gained a more discriminative mindset after coming to India because I'm told to not hangout with Muslim groups, and having all these people describe people as "fair" and wish they could also be more fair. Even my friend tells me, "You're fair, it's fine." as if its a compliment? I've even had people degrade women and calling men "feminist" when they support a girl. Other than that, I'm slowly adapting to the environment here, and it does feel homey with friendly people. I've also met a lot of Indians here that have moved back from America. Looking at the locations of these incidents I'm pretty sure these incidents happen in places where there's a white majority and not a lot of immigrants. I'm not trying to be stereotypical or anything, but usually white parenting is not the best. Otherwise, the place where I lived in the America was really amazing and I treasured my time there. I'm really surprised by these incidents because Indians in my place were never racially discriminated. I'm really sad.

@@PreMal2023 Brother it's a whole different debate of this *Caste Reservation* topic and even *"Dr. B.R.Ambedkar"* said to our government of India that we should must survey within every 10-15 yrs that whichever the caste is taking benefits from this *"Reservation system"* are they doing any development in their lifestyle and education Side and if they're doing it and improved their Life that means they are literate and they can take the responsibilities of their upcoming generation by themselves and from then that particular caste of family should not get any kind *Reservation benefits* from Government of India. So then there will be no inequality or misunderstanding would be left in any person's mindset and every person should get the chance to develop his life equally. Man frankly speaking these all politians and all political parties did this arguments within people of our nation so they can get votes and rule the Nation comfortably and this is what we called the bloody toxic mindset of the country they didn't execute the Rule properly so they can heat-up feud whenever they want in the name of *Religion* and *Caste Reservation* !... And even our Indian citizens don't want to admit and understand thier dirty propaganda. @@theg0dseye388 Caste reservation should not exist period. The only people who deserve special reservations are economically weak section. They should be provided with scholarships provided they have scored more than others. But in caste reservation, their cut off marks are lesser than general category and they are preferred over them. How is this ok? Atleast score more than the general to get special reservations. Reservations should only be made on the economic status (provided that they have scored well to deserve that) and not caste . That is the major flaw with this. Edit: Coming to this particular video, of course noone should face racism but you can't play the victim in one situation and be okay when you are benefiting in discriminating others in academics.

@@PreMal2023 what are yapping bruh, half of reservation is economic based. 10% EWS is for lower class Generals. 27% OBC for NCL. Only 23-25% SC/ST quota doesn't have it which they should. Upper class Elite SC/STs should be made general undoubtedly. But still the point stands, 40% of total reservation is caste based (25% SC/ST), 60% of total reservation is economic (37% OBC+EWS). Aside from that caste discrimination and partiality is still real and steps should be taken for it's eradication too obviously along with removing reservations.

I recently moved to US for High School. I am 15 and let me tell you, I face racism like anything. It's hard for me to adapt to the American culture so i get mocked. I am a easy target for bullies because I am an Indian in a visa so i can't stand up for myself. Although our country has problems we never discriminate.
