Are you happy with the constant music biopics or would you rather them take a break for a hot minute? Let me know!

Come to think of it, you are so correct about these movies. IT’s a formula they follow, a pattern as if all these musicians live the exact same lives. Some of them are good, I do agree, but they do have different lives. I do agree with you on Bohemian Rhapsody, it was a horrible film that needed to explore more towards the last few years o this life. It does not do Freddie Mercury justice and he is one of my Musical Heroes.

haha thanks. As i was finding clips I felt more vindicated as I was able to find them all my points from very different films

Are you hinting that the musicians' lives are not being told accurately? Or do all musicians from that time point generally have the same story?

Mostly that they’re generally all the same but if they were more accurately told, it would help quite a bit. I know the Queen biopic was watered down quite a bit to get the PG-13 rating and Rocketman decided not to do that and in my opinion while leaning into the musical element of it and being more truthful to Elton’s life, it made the film stand out a lot more than other biopics

@bend316 Queen and PG13 doesn't sound like they go together.

@ yeah but I get why they did it. It made almost a billion so business wise it makes sense where Rocketman was R and made I think 300. So I get it, but doesn’t mean I have to like it lol
