When they say, the battery runs your lights only that may be so in theirs, but I have never had an RV or a camper trailer where the lights still run on shore power every single one of my campers do not have a battery plugged into the battery slot and it still runs the lights, but I can switch a lover to be able to run it on just the batteries and that was stock in in 1967 at least for the company, Shaista, it was

I do not. Could be multiple reasons, and unfortunately I have limited electrical knowledge. Sorry I couldn’t help!

120? Check up front under camper follow positive wires should be automatic relay that switches back nd forth from dc to ac power when plugged into shore power

You didn’t check both battery’s if there connected you had a 2 v drop cause your connections were dirty clean those up and should resolve the issue nd test again thank me later
