The first guy that assaulted you was mad because he thought you disturbed his sleep. Assaults are happening on all the different videos. Protect yourself by not working alone. Always work in two's. These people can be dangerous. It's wonderful that you clean the ditches for the water flow. Very important. You do a great job.

From the looks of it, he's been sleeping a lot. Nobody before cleaned the drain and gutters. A few hours of noise isn't going to hurt anyone. But the standing water and the debris on the road will hurt someone. It was about time, the job had to be done.

Usually, the Public Works Department does the cleaning with an excavator machine. I would think China with its flooding problems, would have the Department of Public Works cleaning the roadside drainage ditches.
