No one is saying Kemi shouldn’t criticise Nigeria. It’s the way she does it that leaves a bitter taste in most people’s mouth. They love nothing more than a minority saying the things they’d love to say - tap dancing for them. We didn’t see Rishi Sunak criticise India or say anything about deporting Indians as they make up the bulk of the overstayers in the UK. On the otherhand, Ibrahim Traore just paid national debt of 4 9 billion dollars and taken control of all Gold mines in Burkina Faso. This politician originally from Nigeria may be right about certain things in Nigeria and in Africa at large. But when African politicians and business people engage in corruption in most cases they are working with foreign governments and foreign business people from Europe, USA, United Kingdom and China. The instability that we have in Nigeria and other African countries which include wars are mostly funded by foreign governments like France, USA, UAE, China and the United Kingdom. In recent years there has been a rise in violent crimes by teenage boys in the United Kingdom most of which involves attacks with knives. Drug trafficking in the United Kingdom is also a problem, but in this case it seems to be carried out mostly by white people and the Asians. One of the countries that was involved in the Biafra war is France. The military coup that took place in Lesotho in 1986 was sponsored by USA, United Kingdom and the South African apartheid government. They did this because most of the industries and mines in South Africa were owned by companies from USA and the United Kingdom, and, they needed water from Lesotho to supplement what they had in the then Transvaal.

Her portrayal of clarity of political vision has worked and propelled her to lead the party and formulate a new vision for British leadership. Nigerians, do not catch feelings so easily cos she is not singing the praises of her fatherland. She does not mean to hurt Nigeria, but build her ultraconservative brand.

The Nigeria now is a harvest of the Nigeria was when Kemi was there but also the Nigeria that is evolving under democracy and still maintaining it position as the giant of Africa (or at least West Africa). It is about interests AND the relationship with Nigeria and the U.K. is very very cordial. All I know is that this is nothing new. We are used to hearing even worse. So we will survive and move on. But, Kemi will have herself to blame for exposing her root. Thank you, ma'am.

I don't agreed with her politics .But she telling the truth.Nigerians in the UK are lost souls ,not working as a collective.Even thous they will be emerge as a largest minority.

It is sad that she feels the need to hi-light only the negatives of Nigeria. Yes, there is bad.......what is the good? Of course there are positive qualities about the country.

Comparing a 64 year old country in tropical Africa, pieced together from hundreds of competing ethnic groups, with a 1,000 year old homogenous nation in Europe, one of the most habitable parts of the world, is just plain foolish.

What planet is Kemi coming from saying Nigeria is a very poor country- she is too whitewashed. Abeg she needs to educate herself more. The British government is not corrupt? Boris Johnson not corrupt- really laughable.

Nigerians, i wonder!!! We tried protests to speak out, we were silenced. Now, someone is speaking out, and we are complaining. Sad, the bad governance in Nigeria is warping our minds. I do hope that when she gets into power, she will check the sickly relationship wherein the U.K aids our government in their dark behaviours.

What she's saying is true, that's what matters. The Nigerian police should change their ways. They are destroying their own country and its people.

There are a lot wrong in Nigeria that needs fixing and Kemi is not wrong. My question is why are the issues of Nigeria top discussion topic of a British politician? There are a lot wrong with the UK and the US but I don't hear Starmer or Trump out there talking about these issues. I think Kemi needs to focus on British politics as a proud Anglo Saxon and leave Nigeria out of it.

FOR SOMEONE WITH SO MUCH EDUCATION SHE IS A VERY SILLY WOMAN! She even admits that she was born into a very wealthy family! I have so much disdain for her! Her family was doing ok, thanks to the work of her parents. Some good did come out of Africa then! She should know that the WEST still creates [problems in Africa and are the most corrupt influence in all our these 3rd world countries.
