We have a quick look at what arrived in the mail today. The Kebtek 40mm Electric Pruning Shears. Great in the garden. I'll be testing them out and giving more feedback on them soon on Turf and Tools. www.kebtek.shop

I know some older folk that get sore from using those larger style loppers alot and these would solve that issue, obviously the price is a drawback, but if they are quality that will soon be forgotten. great tool to have for lawn and gardners would work well in conjuction with hedge trimmers esp for a hedge reduction.

The works jawsaw, electric for breaking down limbs and stems on the ground. Has a small chainsaw you just press down on the machine and the saw moves into position and cuts. A bit heavy for my taste so it's difficult for women of 119 lb to use it above my head so it is now a ground tool. I'm older too 73 so I look for lightweight uncomplicated equipment. As for loopers be very careful I used to hold them cross my body and use my right hand as a pressure like an anvil cut and but know that I did some damage to my rib cage and feel it everyday. I don't recommend using loppers incorrectly, LOL. The ratchet type are good but they are also very heavy so you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't but your yard will damn you if you don't go out and do it. 😁

@@kathleenegan8660 Yes good comment exactly what the pruners are for. I also recomend a sawzall like the Milwaukee M18 Sawzall but use the special pruning blade can cut thicker material mabve up to 6 inch thick and also does very good if removing shrubs and roots as the pruning plade stays sharp for quite a while in the dirt. Still thoses sawzalls will be a handfull over head given your details another idea is you can buy one of those extendable type pole saws from bunnings manual push and pull type there are alot of different types, lengths and brands you may find one that suites.

I've had a sawzall for 20 years multiple blades. But the handiest one is The reciprocating saw it's electric but vibrates so fast it does to cutting.. anything that a 119 lb woman can handle. Just purchased the gas powered weed eater and I think it's like 1/3 of my body weight! So I have to go back and find a good harness with shoulder protection so that I can distribute it the weight properly to my frame. The mechanical tools are terrific but the safety tools that protect our bodies are necessary I wish I saw you using them because you will last a very long time if you don't put all the stress on the same point over and over again. Remember my lopper experience taught me the hard way.

One more question on the flat shovel you use on the sidewalk do you use a blade sharpener on it so that it cuts quicker when you're cleaning the seams and the edges? I wonder because my driveway I thought about something lightweight for taking the leaves off the drive and pushing them back by using a snow shovel which is very lightweight let me know if I should be sharpening my shovel thank you.

Sounds like Nic doesnt want to watch you play with your new toys. 😕 🤣 lm impressed with those nippers. They would sure make life easier if you are older(like me) or have a lot of thinning to do. Definetly make pruning go faster. 👍🏻🥰

I reckon the people that say that they are useless or that its lazy are just jealous that they don't have electric pruners. 😆

We have vineyards, aprox 10000 grape trees, we use Makita DUP361 and Pellenc Vinion, without this type of tools, it is such a pain pruning… the one issue with this shear I see is the weight, after a while you will be in pain, even the ones we use, battery in backpack, still fatigue after a few hrs.

Hi. What string trimmer battery powered would you recommend. I bought one that uses the plastic blades and they are Useless in Florida jungle grass. 😁

Soooo many options. I made a quick video about the ego one that I’m using at the moment but I think I’ll have to make another one

I have no reason to have that tool. When has that stopped me in the past. Thank you for being lazy I mean efficient at work. I enjoy how people seat in a chair can A) tell how to do you work better. B) what you do or don’t need to do your job. C) claim you do this for fame and all the money KZbin gives you to make the videos. Like what I have seen on this channel and look forward to the next video.
