As a 23 years old guy working as an engineer in one of the biggest industries in Singapore, I would say the 24/7 demanding work is stressful. Having to work extended hours every working day, plus having to standby even during your off time due to the production never stops. Its the thought of being chased all the time sort of makes me feel exhausted? On the bright side, it keeps me going. Im quite sure progressed far more than I would if I were to work in Malaysia which comes with its price ah. I would suggest everyone to have a period of these stressful moments just to make us feel more grateful for our free time.

Being in my early 30s, I'm often stressed about career, money, housing costs, and caring for elderly parents. While I prefer a chill, go-with-the-flow attitude, the demands of work and having a partner can create a constant push to keep up. It's like we're forced into this societal rat race, even though all I truly desire is a modest income to enjoy life. Anyone else feel the same stress? It's like when we were young, we were in a race for academic grades, and now as adults, we're in a cycle of chasing higher pay and promotions. The never-ending pursuit continues.

Pin pls. -Increased cost of living -increased difficulty to get a house -increased competitive nature of our youth + theory smart(certs) overly prioritized and focused. -Costs go up, salaries go up but the ratio is like 7:1 -Ageing population -Slow loss of national identity of true blue singaporeans -Increased sensitivity and vulnerability of the younger generation -Singaporeans working and studying hard to just barely survive here
