I am in a serious relationship and I sacrifice time with her, I come home from work then work again marketing, paperwork, etc. Friends try to hang out, I say no. But it really does hit the heart. I hear from both sides, “friends and family are more important than money and success”, how do I come about creating success ethically, (still in the beginning of this business, meaning more than maybe 80 hours a week), and find a way to make the right sacrifices? I am still working on a perfect question to ask you on Minnect before I make an investment to schedule a call one day. Thank you for all the information you help us with virtually for free.

Personally I believe we're unhappy because we fail to understand what enjoy the process means. We quit not because what we're trying to do it hard. But because we failed to make it enjoyable. We quit because we want to be allowed to be happy again. It's out of self preservation. Three things that helped me are: pick something you like doing,design a way to make the everyday enjoyable, and enjoy your life outside of what you like to do. Those three things are what encompass "enjoy the process" when one suffers they all suffer including you. I made a video on this yesterday if you'd like another perspective. Be kind to yourself ❤️!

What a “healthy relationship” looks to a regular person will be toxic to an entrepreneur. As a relationship therapist working with entrepreneurs, I absolutely agree with Pat, regular relationship advice won’t work for high achievers. It’ll either leave them feeling guilty they can’t be there enough for their relationship or agitated that they are not working on their business. For an entrepreneur, their relationship has to serve and support their greater vision, otherwise they’ll always be caught between the two, pulled in two different directions, never quite feeling enough for either.

This is exactly why living together before marriage is so important. You can talk about how things will be until you're blue in the face and never know what it's like until you're living it.
@reeb90163 жыл бұрын
Funny how many live together "before" getting married who never get married. The guys love that free lay with no strings. No commitment means the lady is giving it up for free and usually no marriage to show for it.
@hleedina55673 жыл бұрын
Living together before marriage and real marriage whether you lived together before or not is not the same. People always change after marriage, it's a subconscious reality that sets in with the commitment it takes to finally decide to be a man and a woman and get married. People always think that it is a good idea to live together and that they get a sense of what that married life is going to be, but that's the problem, it's not the full image, and people are still on audition just like you are when you are dating someone. Once you marry someone and move in with them you get to see who they really are, how they really live, and they truly reveal themselves to you. Something that you will never see when living with someone before marriage. They will change whether you like it or not, because that's what people do...and you know what, you will change too, and sometimes you won't know that you did. Your true self will only get revealed once you are not on an audition and marriage is the final act. Most couples actually divorce at a higher rate and at an unrepairable rate if they had lived together before marriage. You can look it up, most of the time, its because they have missed out on that time of discovery and learning that couples that move in together after marriage usually get. It all just blends in and life becomes monotonous, especially as reality begins to insert itself. The person will reveal themselves to you and you will be shocked, either way, you can't really avoid it. Some for the better, some for the worst. You should be more worried about the quality of person to marry that the quantity of time you get to spend with them before marriage, because they have no reason to reveal themselves and let their guard down to you knowing that there is no reason stopping either of you from moving on if you has to. Don't get fooled, It's what everybody does, but not everything good we do is beneficial.

This and all videos need better audience that cares more. Here is supposed to be future top class? Alfas? And even you all combined cannot get rid of crap spam posts from the chat by simply outvoting them? Not care physical nor digital environment? KZbin needs many more detailed buttons, but some "heart" is last in the row.

Greed Seems to be the end-all. Greedy people want to be on the run all the time. Why do people need so much money? I sleep from about 11 to 7 every night. What’s the big deal? I have plenty of money, because I live within my means

You know Pat, the truth is that nothing, ZERO action of any form, counts unless it comes from WILL. Unless you WANT to. I feel that discipline is learning to want to do what is most beneficial. Epic video as always.

Every person's body requires sleep, food, water, exercise differently. If you have a goal and are driven to reach it, you will find a way to do what needs to be done while caring for your health, family and spiritual needs. Do not guilt someone else into your own pattern

I was fortunate to learn in my early 20's I can handle going 30 hours without sleep. That I can survive months at a time off 3-5 hours of sleep. It's not healthy but I know when I'm under pressure I can take punishment most people aren't willing to take for a extended period of time.

The construct of passion and passage of which we dwell unto and into -- sleep is of such intrinsic importance { pure blissful sleep } turning the mind off -- outwardly and discerning the innermost thoughts on OUR MINDS ... we create and therefore we accomplish and accommodate our fellow brethren! People comparing each other leads to unhappiness. Hence social media is the culprit
It's a super timely topic Pat. And your advice on comparing to the point of envy is a real one. Comparison games are only helpful to an extent, but go too far and you begin to negatively impact yourself by envying

Being constructively productive is important. Success is not measured by how much money you acquire but by your contribution to life itself. If you are obsessed with money making, you have missed the entire point of living. Only that which is non-material may accompany you beyond this life. Living a meaningful life in the way that resonates with you is the point.
