The fact that tdx is canon continuation of tb is awesome, john never forget to credit planet, even the relic is direct inspiration from graveyard, he also credits him there, and the fact that in tb normal mode which is the past timeline (tb timeline) made tb army have an actual name aka the GDA we know now, and the void connection with xenon as he stated in his dialogues made tb actually have a lore. Also commander stated that in mid game there are some uknown entity that dr xenon did not tell (multiplier) which is the first sign of xenon betrayal when the commander is teaching us. The tdx lore is so good and not rushed which very amazing. Starting from the 5 main modes (intermediate has a little tb lore) and then events, they are connected with each other the difference is the timelines. But unfortunately the GDA is losing rn in chapter 3 they are very despereate now, will xenon redeem herself by helping the GDA? Stay tuned in dra- i mean Tower Defense X.

Honorable mention: The Void. Despite being basically a revamp of an already existing boss from another tower defense game that basically has like, 2 abilities, the team did an awesome job at remaking it without losing it's menacing personality. The stomp attack's wind-up, the animation of flying up and destroying entire warships, summoning meteors from the _void_ of fucking space, the first appearance of the corruption mechanic, even the roar at the start are all awesome details that make what is essentially an angry purple blockman into something that feels like an entity of POWER. And the sound design, both on normal and nightmare is just what tops it off. I think I still hear the intro to Raze the Void in my head to this day. Also, now that I look back at this, I glazed this purple lego man from a tower defense game quite a bit, huh.

what we need bosses to do is directly affect you, maybe the final halloween boss could limit you from placing certain towers, drain your cash directly or cause newly placed towers to be turned instead of allies. Shit like that, where it affects YOU instead of just being against the towers, is super memorable.

Although you only just started being a tdx yt i guess. I think youre easily going to be my favourite. I love your recent videos, you think the exact way of how i think, and probably most of us. Also on this video, i completely agree. The boss fights are so badass. Literally all of them, their moves and music fit in with their design and attacks. For example, engineer uses his emp shock from his chest, as he charges it, the music tense up, after the shock, it drops the beat. My personal favourites are the predators and corrupted predators. Either way, all of them are unique and badass

In my opinion, it’s because half of them are freaking robots and there’s two things that instantly make me love a character basically bosses if it’s a robot and it’s gigantic and honestly half of them are literally just huge robots. I’m pretty sure it’s because I love chaos imagining these things going on a killing is just so cool the ones that aren’t robots some of them are still cool but usually I don’t like them as much except calamity. This video makes many great points. While the majority of the bosses are eradicators they truly are unique and definitely give you that sense of dread when you hear those menacing soundtracks. I also like how they give the weaker bosses basically a rework. Eradicator MK1 to Eradicator MK1-C and Predator to Apex Predator. Overall a great video.

Alright , I understand that tdx do has some cool bosses but calling it “some of the best bosses in td history” is such an insane stretch. There are A LOT of games that has much better bosses with unique design and mechanic such as Arknights and Tower Galactica bosses. Hell even the funny monkey game (BTD6) has much more scarier bosses that literally changes how you play the game without making it able to kill towers. And I want to point out the design, like sure the bosses has small details that make them different to each other but making them unique? They have very similar design and even some of them are literally a recolor copy of bosses like the Eradicators and Predators. Their abilities aren’t that much unique either, most eradicator bosses has same-y abilities with few tweaks for some of their counterparts. Making them able to spam delete expensive towers doesn’t make them scary or anything that’s just making them annoying. What’s the point of warship’s big health pool if it’s just gonna be one shotted by Mk4? And now for the music, comparing it to mick gordon is just kinda… not a good comparision. Mick Gordon’s music has so much more depth in them compared to tdx osts. The music is good sure but not all people enjoy phonk or metal. Calling it amazing is abit too much, not that I hate the artist but it’s just blatant glazing at this point. The opinion here are mostly subjective and therefore tdx bosses cannot be called “the best in td game history.” I do like robotic bosses such as Councilman and Robotic Overseer from tbz, but tdx bosses are just plain boring. They are fun at first but now future bosses are just slightly different version of them. (Except calamity but that boss is just boring). And no, I’m not a tds glazer. Please read the comment before you wanna call me that.

Honestly, Tdx is the upgraded version than tds, as u said towers can die and can get stunned and debuff, it's more challenging and hard but good, and has really unique features like artillery, u can select where he shoots, farm that instead instantly giving you the money, you must wait for an AC-130 to drop the crate and get the money, since I mentioned the towers can get killed, medic is has a true use because he can heal, can make ur tower invincible for some seconds (top path) and can make ur towers have 200% dmg buff I think (bottom path) also Don't forget about warship, an huge ahh boat, also last thing they are so creative, about towers, towers abilities, enemies, and modes

i think these more "generic" tower defense games on roblox have a lot of issues when it comes to bosses. in TDX, most attacks can be boiled down to damage, debuff, stun, and sometimes spawns/heals. in TDS, it's just stun + spawn + heal. but like... what else can you do about it? it's a tower defense game, not an FPS or turn-based RPG, you cant do a lot more than that. i guess TDX wins out since the bosses stimulate a more active playstyle than passive. what do i mean by that? in TDX, you can at least place down bait towers, sell and replace towers that are confused/corrupted/about to be oneshot... while in TDS, you kinda just wait for your towers to get unstunned. oh and also... The Gee J kicks ass.

Corrupted MKII is literally meant to be, well just that, a corrupted MKII. He is meant to be similar to MKII. That being said, he is not "a reskin". Corrupted MKII is a notably more worn down, overgrown, broken, and heavily damages version of MKII. Clear effort was put into making these two look very different, and calling it a reskin would be an insult to everyone who worked on corrupted MKII.

Something TDX does really well is Bosses. Even if the majority are Eradicators, but they have unique personalities! MK1 is tactical and knows when to flee, MK2 is just too angry to die for good (Chapter 3 moment), MK3 is missing, and so on. I hope we get more variety of bosses as they improve the game! Hope we get a nice shake up in gameplay for some new bosses like in Tower Galactica! Duhovnic War flash backs intensify.

Calamity feels underwhelming to me ngl. He has massive hp, summon an army, but that's about it.
