Native Texan here I understood what that man was saying 😂 also that was the Texas Pledge we used to say every morning in elementary school. It's my understanding not many other states have this if any. I do know were one of the only states that have Texas History (their state history) as part of mandatory curriculum

Honestly Texas (as a Native Texan) is very divarse in culture, we hve Texas culture mostly outwest and up north, but a little in the east, but eat is more common ground where theres a mix of texan and American culture. Central Texas in the cities is more American culture, but the country parts are less cowboy Texas culture, south is very Hispanic cultures and city culture, north Texas has lots of Native America culture, and theres lots of central Texas towns with strong German culture :) for me im less cowboy texan culture and German culture and i love it, its home. Not America, but Texas, Texas is my home

For anyone wondering you'd probably find this more in the great plains or on the close/near the border bc there are big cities like Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and El Paso there are some areas in the outer corners of these big cities where it's like this. But yeah there are many different families in Texas like there are the country ones, big city ones, small suburbs ones, small towns ones , golf coast ones, etc. but yeah we're more than just cowboys 🤠🤍 oh and don't forget the Hispanic (manly Mexican) families cuz a lot of people get them mixed up with cowboys or at least some of them 😅😅
