Mallu kids born in Gulf have a different lifestyle compared to kids in kerala and kids in Western countries .We are kind of the mix of both. Unlike mallus born in western countries , we can at least speak fluent malayalam, some of us change our slang depending on the person we are talking to but most of us still cannot write in malayalam . We minimum know to speak at least 3 languages - malayalam , hindi and english . Unfortunately 95% of us still don't know to speak arabic even though we spent 17 years of our life there . And there are a lot more things to talk about us , we are just a different topic to be discussed on . I really think there should be a movie based on us (i wish it would be directed by Vineeth Screenivasan , it would be kind of a mix between Hridayam and Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam) . Whenever i comeback after vacation and is about to land "Ee Shishirakaalam" plays back in my head .

@@gayatrikrishnan4252 This my last year in Bahrain 😭 , i am going to study abroad next year , i am sure gonna miss bahrain , my school(Indian School Bahrain(possibly one of the top best schools to study as an mallu kid in gulf(I had like close to 1000 students in my batch during 7th))), shawarma ,the family night ride to the petrol station, my church, used to celebrate carol and national day on the same day(national days were the best😫), the programmes we had at Keraleeya Samajyam, Food at mosque after breaking fast, Dasmah Bakery, The chaiya kadas of salmaniya, porotta and shuka/chuka(I have never seen that stuff in kerala), kfc(heard that kfc outside gulf sucks)and all of the people i met on the way here . After leaving gulf permanently, we can rarely visit our birthplace and hometown, our friends are from different parts of Kerala and all of us go to different places to study after 10th/12th and eventually all of us will go abroad for work. The vacations won't hit the same afterwards... It's almost impossible to get back the same life after leaving gulf. Even if I come back to Bahrain after some years, things won't be the same as Bahrain is changing rapidly and is on its way to become lyk Dubai, and none of the people who I knew there won't be present. I won't get the rural vibes of Bahrain next time.... We gulf kids life sed only 😥

Kerala has always had a connection with the Middle East. I was told that Malabar’s Shisha water pipe was famous. Even some rulers came down to marry a girl from Kerala. Of course even monsoon winds used to bring Roman Egyptian, Yemeni, Phoenician ships to the coasts of Kerala.

The difference between kerala and punjab. Keralites comes back to kerala with their huge earned money build big houses, spend that money here, give taxes to the government and government in return keeps improving the life style, infrastructure and economy. Where on the other hand punjabis once went to canada never comes back. They send money to their relatives for may be one generation, but after that it's a simple brain drain. They never comes back, they don't pay taxes here, they don't contribute to the economy. It's a human resource loss overall. And it is not only limited to pubjabis, a lot of biharis, upians are also on that list

As a Malayali that used to live in Kuwait (near the gulf), ALMOST EVERY STUDENT AND STAFF IS FROM KERALA IN MY PREVIOUS SCHOOL THERE 💀💀💀 and since I moved to the US, there are more Tamilians and Telugus in the region than Keralites. 😭😭

Never knew that reverse migration has started for malayalis from gulf. But even my next door neighbour has taken a project in gulf and he is working in IT, so gulf is still a good destination for desis looking to earn more and send remittances back. Overall, I found the content very good in your video. Keep up the good work, buddy!

@@gokulskumar6716 Go to school Dude...... 1 - There was no Zamindar System .. It's in north India 2 - It happened before the Communist Party Formed. If You want to congratulate a Political Party For that , You can Congratulate INC 🇮🇳 for that . 3 - I get it what you ment by Zamindar System. Landlord peasant Land Deal.... They tried to Change that .. But Because of their Stupidity Instead of Peasant getting land. Middle Man Got the land.......... Communist Party is a Total Hack ...

@@stophindiimposition6246 actually communist party did a lot. They might be shit now....but the old communist party was very good. There is a reason why it's still like a religion.

What nonsense, current communism is shit (as in they are communism in name only) but old communism did a lot to help people. Cast and religious discrimination was more rampant in Kerala like any other North states of India.

As a Tamil guy, I thank God for placing Malayalis first in Gulf. So that, They preserved places for us, next to them, like siblings. If it was Tamil guys who went Gulf first, they must have given all the places (including theirs) in Gulf to any (white-skinned) Marwadis or northies and sit at their feet, just as they ever do in TN and Gulf might have been another US and UK.
